Cottage vacation rentals in Grândola

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

We had a very nice week in this very nice house! Very quietly located between the orange trees, very clean, very well equipped, simply beautiful. The hot tub right next door is a very nice extra, especially on somewhat cooler autumn days. Communication with Ana absolutely smooth, straightforward and spontaneous, thank you so much!

This is a lovely cottage with a private walled garden. There's a good variety plants - fresh mint, banana trees, various flowers, a lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring. There is a gas barbeque and a large garden table for dinner. The hot tub is a real bonus! The cottage is tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. We appreciated the fruit basket, bread and jam. We recommend booking the hot springs in Evora and having a massage. Google inacquaveritas We highly recommend Carlos place - one not to be missed!

Maura is an excellent host and ambassador for the region. Nothing was too much trouble, even delivered breakfast to our room that evening, as we had to leave before breakfast was commenced in the dining room. The accommodation was exceptional and spacious..quiet and peaceful. Would be a nice getaway if we had longer!

Nice place with an insanely beautiful beach nearby. House is nice with lots of places around the house to always sit in the sun or shade. Also nice that the space around the house is shielded with vegetation and a fence ( due to small kids). House felt very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Nice arrival with lights on and a drink in the refrigerator, plenty of towels and nice smell and soap everywhere, etc. Wonderful stay in the hammock and porch porch. but the breathtaking beach so close to the house was really the best.

Casa May is an idyllic place . The house is set in a beautiful garden which merges into the surrounding bush. Set about a kilometre from the main road , it epitomises peace and quiet.

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Isabel with our young child. The house has everything you need and especially with good weather, you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor area.

We were warmly welcomed by the host, and by three sweet dogs who walked around the yard there. Beautiful surroundings also and nice place to relax.

Beautiful setting, wonderful space, well-appointed kitchen and amazing communications from Tiago. He was beyond generous, always communicative, and even came to say hi! The views and setting were amazing - we had the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises, stunning walks and light. We can't wait to come back.

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our time at Helenas place und would definitely recommend it, if you're looking for a quiet place, but still not far from the tourist spots.

Quinta Kakelbont is one of the most relaxed places I’ve ever been to. The place is located on a huge place of land with 4 really relaxed dogs, 2 super cute pigs and so many fruit trees, where you can pick fresh oranges. It’s super calm and beautiful. The house is very cozy, the bed is comfy and there’s a kitchen with all the appliances. Sjoukje and Carlos are great hosts, we can definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Gonçalo’s place in Sesimbra! The house may be small, but they’ve made incredible use of the space—it had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The layout was thoughtful, and every detail was well considered. Gonçalo was a great host—friendly, responsive, and eager to ensure we had the best experience. The location was perfect for exploring Sesimbra, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had very nice days at the property. We liked the beautiful and peaceful surroundings best. You definitely need a car to do something. And at very hot temperatures it could be very warm without air conditioning. But it was perfect for us. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful accommodation completely secluded in the idyll of nature with beautiful furnishings and great garden. The only problem when we arrived was that the door jammed, which can of course always happen in an old house. Maria Ana was quick to support us with advice and her restaurant recommendations of the area were also welcome. Highly recommended if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to the two extremely relaxed dogs that bark from time to time, you can only hear the rustling of the wind and the chirping of the birds. I'd love it again!

Super nice contact with Karolina. The location was okay with us, but walking to shopping or eating is actually not possible. For this, you can reach the super beautiful hiking trail between Luz and Burgau directly from the property. Perfect for jogging! The pool is very nice too! In addition, each apartment has a barbecue that we liked to use! The site is well maintained. The dryer is worth its weight in gold! This will be shared. A really nice place to stay! The pool was perfect for our kids. There were even some games for them. Thanks for the bottles on arrival, it was really a very touching gesture! The landscape is very beautiful! In short, nothing to repeat, it's really a good base for visiting the surrounding towns and beaches while staying away from the city to rest in the evening. The house is cool for the summer and there is heating for the winter. Thanks again for this listing.
