Cabin vacation rentals in Grand Mesa

AMAZING stay!! We had such a blast with all of our family at this cabin. It was tranquil and beautiful. Would definitely recommend :)

The Yurt was an awesome stay!! Super cozy inside and has a beautiful view outside. The fire and hot tub are both a great addition! They also provide firewood which was great. It is a pretty quiet and secluded place. The owners do live up the street but you didn’t ever really see them out. Would definitely stay again!!

Patricia was a great host and was very responsive. We arrived a little earlier than planned, and she allowed us to check in early after a long night of driving, so that was very nice of her and helpful for us.

Beautiful home, super close to the mountain. Host was really friendly, flexible, and responsive. And best of all there wasn’t a 20-item list of action items on checkout. We tidied up of course, but the only ask was to take the trash to the dumpster-it made the morning of departure so easy.

My family and I live in different parts of Colorado so we are familiar with the Grand Mesa and this truly was a hidden gem. The house was clean, stocked up on essentials for cooking and hosting with games. Lots of outdoor activities nearby and we ended our trip skiing at Powerderhorn which was conveniently less than five minutes away.

This cabin was perfect for a relaxing and off-the-grid stay. The home itself is beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed from extra pillows to kitchen utensils and pots. We enjoyed the beauty around the cabin so much. There were so many hummingbirds enjoying the feeders on the porch, plenty of room for the dogs to run, the most stunning views of the stars at night, and laying by (and in the river) was an absolute pleasure. We ventured into Paonia and enjoyed the town and wine tastings. And the cabin is a nice drive through beautiful aspen groves to Crested Butte. I would recommend this cabin to anyone (especially those dogs) wanting a peaceful, fairly remote stay. I would note that the property isn’t gated or fenced so if your dogs bolt, probably best to keep them on leash. This stay was a 10/10 for us!

This was a beautiful house along the creek with perfect amenities! Fredrique and Eric have laid out the space so well and they had a great little guest book with super helpful recommendations of what to do locally. The hot tub next to the creek was the best way to end a night after visiting Grand Junction!

FANTASTIC HOST and SPOT! You will be sad you didn’t book if you don’t. Tim is hospitable knowledgeable and just as warm as his hand built cabins. The thoughtfulness in the space was very noticeable . Perfect stay. Best Airbnb experience… Can not express this enough!

Beautiful cabin, very private and quiet, isolated from any houses, amazing mountain views from each side of the house. We spent an unforgettable time there, lots of wildlife around, cows walk around the property, we saw bear prints which was exciting. Robert was very communicative about any questions we had and very quickly responded. The road is pretty rough and so make sure you have an SUV, very rocky and some place so narrow only one car can pass, but it is quite an off road adventure and fun.There is wifi out there, so no problem connecting to an internet or tv to watch favorite shows.There is plenty of space for everyone, upstairs balcony has beautiful views. Everything like basic essentials is there like tp, towels, cups, drinking bottle water is there. We went with dogs and had an amazing time up there, and there was nothing better than sitting on the porch and watching the nature and the stars in the evening. We loved the place, highly recommend and will definitely come back

We love staying to the old Crystal Meadows! We stayed there 3 years ago and enjoyed it then as well.. Unfortunately, a couple of things...we were asked to wash the dishes and put back...No dish soap or dish towels to do so. I asked IN PERSON what the hours were for the store as I needed to get ice. Told 4PM and I said it was good as I would be back by then. SO, I didn't get what I needed in town. Came back to a piece of tape over the 4pm closing time and it was closed! No ice....how many miles from town? It was disappointing. Don't promise something you can't honor. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Had a great time - location is peaceful and quiet along the Uncompahgre River. Just 60 minutes away from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, trails in and picnics in the Cimarron's, San Juans and local sites. Great farmers' markets in Montrose, Ridgway, Delta.

This house worked perfect for our group ski trip! We stayed here and visited the Aspen mountains for the weekend. Plenty of space and rooms so everyone was comfortable, cute and homey living room spaces and a perfect fireplace for post-ski hangs! We loved that the house is hidden up on the hill, we had no problem with the roads or anything, it was always plowed quickly! Had a great time, will definitely try to stay here again!

This was our 2nd time staying here because we love this place!!! Clean and comfortable. I was amazed at all the extra amenities, such as insect repellent, sun screen, spices in the kitchen, walking poles, laundry soap, dryer sheets, disinfectant wipes and many more! Fully equipped kitchen. The queen bed was so comfortable! We felt right at home! Great place to stay, especially if you have a large family as it will sleep 8!

This place went above and beyond on meeting our expectations. The scenery was breath taking. The home felt very comfortable and had everything I could possibly needed. Instructions were clearly laid out and made checking in and checking out seamless. Also response time was very quick.

This property is ran by the nicest family I have ever come across in general. I have never felt so welcome at any other place I’ve stayed at, I’m going to have a hard time renting anything else ever again, it’s going to be really hard to top them! Super responsive as well with any issues and they fix the problem immediately no matter the time of day! Also located around some of the nicest neighbors and beautiful Mountain Views all around. I’m going to really miss this place, wish I’d never have to leave.

A miner's cabin in Colorado in the fall, what could be more relaxing? The needle rock cabin is fully restored with all the latest updates yet still feels off grid and begs you to slow down and take everything in. No detail is overlooked and Kerstin is very responsive. Spotlessly clean, so many small but meaningful touches make this an ideal peaceful getaway. The tiny town of Crawford is only minutes away and bigger town of Paonia is 30 minutes down a lovely country road. Colorado at its finest!

communication from start to finish was perfect. arrived and checked kn quickly. cabin was exactly as described and amazing for our needs. Basic sundries were there along with coffee, they also offered board games and snow sleds! we booked a 3 hour snowmobile tour for my wife, 13yr old daughter and myself that was a true highlight of our trip! I would highly recommend both staying at Thunder Mountain and doing the snowmobile tour!

The hosts are amazing and truly care about their guests and their experience! The cabins are amazing, the location is so beautiful and they even have rentals. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for another amazing stay!

This place was fantastic!!! After a long day of traveling through beautiful scenery, Maegen's cabin was the perfect place to stay the night. The cabin was clean, cozy, and peaceful. Her directions were clear and concise. This was great because I arrived later than expected after the sun had already went down. I was even more surprised in the morning as the sun rose and I was able to take in the amazing views of mountains. The view off of the porch is incredible. As an added bonus, the hiking trail on property was one of the best on my trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
