House vacation rentals in Grand Marais

Great place to stay for any trip in the Duluth area! House was clean and the downstairs games were great.

Had a wonderful cousins weekend here! Was close to town, we were able to explore the city yet return to the home and relax in the hot tub. Hosts were very responsive and home was just as described. Thank you, would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here during Grandma’s marathon. It was a perfect location to be able to quickly spectate at the 16th mile marker. Tracy’s place was cozy, clean, and great for what we needed. It was close enough to downtown Duluth area but still far enough out to have privacy. Tracy really considered all of what guests would need. We will definitely consider coming back.

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

Great place. Close to porcupine mountains, short drive. Nice neighborhood, people were pleasant. House was big enough for 6 of us. We did not use the basement. Can’t say much about the basement. Overall great place and served us well. Enjoyed the stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! So many thoughtful touches and the cabin had everything we needed. The surrounding towns were also a joy to visit. Thank you!

Great stay. Everything was very easy. Tv in the living room did not connect to WiFi though. Not the biggest deal overall.

This is a great property. It was just as described - private, huge deck, amazing views, very clean, and great communication. The house was also very well stocked with everything that we needed. This cabin really felt like home while we stayed there.

What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Great place and great location! The outside deck was a beautiful place to hang out. Tons of walking paths and easy to get around. Would stay again.

The place was easy to find and plenty of space for our family to enjoy Northern MN. It isn't too far from the local stores. It was an easy location that is accessible if you want to explore Duluth, Silver Bay, Lusten and Grand Marais. Thank you.

Roomy and very clean, comfortable. The decks were a big plus, as the weather was better than expected. Well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Host was readily available to answer questions. Great location for hiking the shore, waterfalls, and rivers at nearby state parks. Grand Marais was just 20 minutes north; Coho Cafe always great (Salmon Chowder!); dining at Blue Fin Bay was easy, but mixed reviews on our meals.

Our getaway was absolutely ideal! With ample space for all seven of us, we found the perfect balance of comfort and fun. The two little ones had plenty of room to play indoors with the chilly weather outside. The kitchen was a dream, equipped with everything we needed to whip up delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We truly can’t express how perfectly this place catered to all our needs—it made our trip unforgettable!

Beautiful lake home! We really enjoyed our stay here, very close to Lake Superior and Gooseberry falls a short drive away. Everything was clean and cozy, our son loved all the little black bear decorations :)

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

Absolutely beautiful home with a stunning view of the lake. Three unique floors but you feel close to everyone no matter which floor you are on. Larger bunk beds worked great for a group. 20 minute drive to Grand Marais is super easy. Would recommend to groups or large families!

It was more than we could ask for! We loved the interior design and post and beam architecture! The cabin was probably the best equipped AIRBnB We have ever stayed in! The Kitchen was incredible equipped with top end Appliances. The heated floor and very hot shower were both very well received! And a complementary bottle of very good wine!! Wow! 2 Thumb’s up!

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate a family milestone and had a great time. The hosts are terrific and responsive. The instructions they provided were precise. The house is clean, organized, clutter-free and comfortable.
