House vacation rentals in Grampian Mountains

We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

Peaceful spot in the heart of Pitlochry, away from the hustle and bustle of the high street, providing the perfect place for rest & relaxation. Property is well equipped and tastefully decorated with quality little touches throughout. The shower is amazing... We were blessed with beautiful weather so managed to make use of outside space which was a bonus 🌞 Have already recommended to family and friends! All amenities within easy walking distance with the odd incline for some cardio! Can recommend The Moulin Inn and Port na Craig for supper plus plenty coffee and cake type options in the town. Will keep on our list for a future wee visit when we just need to get away and don't want to venture too far...

Fantastic house - really comfortable and well located. The location is great right beside the shop. We also enjoyed using the leisure club, the claghsn inn and Skoosh. Easy access to the quieter side of Loch Lomond was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

An absolute gem - a beautiful place to stay in glorious surroundings and with wonderful amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We had a lovely stay, we will definitely return! Communication was great and the views are amazing. It was very clean and there are comfy beds.

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. Had just a single nights stay for work nearby but the perfect place to lay my head! Quiet, comfortable and had everything I needed. Great communication with Jamie the host, easy check-in and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if working nearby.

Fiona was a wonderful host, very proactive and friendly. Beautiful fresh flowers and coffee, tea and biscuits were a lovely touch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the views over the loch were lovely. There were also lots of good games and puzzles. The overall cleanliness could have been improved, in particular the kitchen but didn't detract from our stay. Thank you Fiona

Lovely property. Milk in the fridge when we arrived and fresh towels laid out with was a very thoughtful touch. Would stay again.

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

This place is fantastic. The house is mega, and can’t beat the location. Jack and Guadalupe were top notch hosts. Will hope to have this place again next time we’re in the highlands.

We had a great stay and would recommend anyone looking for a very clean and comfortable place in Stirling. Such a fantastic property in such peaceful surroundings, yet only a short walk to the heart of the city. Can certainly highly recommend Hollybush Cottage, was exactly as described and perfect for our family vacation. The views, the wildlife, the space to enjoy, all made it such a memorable trip for us all. Thanks to Clare for being responsive and providing us with the perfect base.

The house was beautiful, very spacious and extremely clean. The living area had lots of space with comfy sofas and footstools. There was a massive collection of dvds and books. The garden was peaceful, with garden furniture and a great view of the sea. We had 4 of us plus a baby which meant to bottom floor was ideal for the baby and mother and the rest of us were on the top floor. The view from the upstairs bedrooms were stunning. We walked the coast to the local villages and the village its self had great cafes and restaurants and an award winning chippy! We had the best stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you to the host for letting us stay, your house is beautiful.

Lovely accommodation as described by the owner. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with very friendly locals. We loved the nearby beautiful beach but steep hill to get to it which would not suit anyone with walking difficulties. Lots to do in nearby towns with our dog and ev charging available nearby in Montrose.

It's very homely and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. There are some lovely walks from around Newtonmore. Check-in and check-out was really easy which was great as we had a very long drive to get there. Caroline's instructions were also really clear. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.
