Within half an hour you'll be in the centre of Amsterdam but also in Alkmaar, Volendam, Zaanse Schans. We offer you a spacious private guest house in a beautiful surrounding. You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

Built in 1888, this is one of the oldest boats in Amsterdam and is located in the Jordaan near the Anne Frank house and the Central Station. The boat has 5G internet, TV, central heating, a separate bathroom, and a free parking space. You have exclusive use. Outside on the deck you have a beautiful view of the Keizersgracht and there are many stores and restaurants around the corner.

Our apartment is located on the top floor in one of Alkmaar's most famous buildings. It is the ideal base for exploring the city and the region. Step outside into the picturesque streets and canals and take a walk in the city park around the corner. Discover the historical monuments or visit the cheese market, explore the many boutiques or cafes and restaurants nearby. On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.

At the end of a dead-end road at the bottom of the dike overlooking the "Eilandspolder" nature reserve and a 5-minute walk from the "de Havik" mill, hidden between the reeds and right on the ring canal, is the "De Smid" vacation home. 30-minute drive from Amsterdam Noord. 30-minute drive from the Noord Zeestrand. Two bedrooms, one mezzazine, sleeps 6 people. Please note the mezzazine has a steep ladder. We prefer to host families or people with reviews. 30 minute drive to Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaandam. Closer are Edam, Volendam and Marken.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
