Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The location is rural with animals and nature just outside the door but at the same time close to the city, restaurants, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and beach/swimming. Follow the Lighthouse Trail towards the old Gilleleje, or in the opposite direction towards Nakkehoved Lighthouse, from where there is a breathtaking view. It is possible to borrow a men's and women's bicycle, with gears. Older models!

Beautiful house in scenic surroundings down to Esrum Å

The house is located in beautiful, quiet natural surroundings down to Esrum River. From the house, there is a view of the garden, river and fields. Next to the house is the main house where there may sometimes be someone. The house is nice with a nice kitchen and bathroom and everything a house should have. 10 min walk from beautiful sandy beach. The house has, in addition to a large double bed for 2 people, a 140 cm box mattress on the loft. There is free access to kayaks, SUP, fire pit, bicycles and fishing rods. New WILDERNESS BATH and ICE BATH are available for a fee.

Bike path just around the corner and via it you can go north to Mölle, Kullaberg and Krapprup. To the south, you can reach Höganäs. If you are interested in fishing, there are good opportunities to fish from the beach. The apartment is a separate apartment in a larger villa. It has its own entrance and patio door to the garden. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, shower, washing machine and dryer.

This natural gem is located north of Helsinge in Kongernes Nordsjælland overlooking open fields and forests. It is 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances of going mushroom hunting or just taking a walk in the beautiful nature. It is very common for forest animals to walk right outside the windows. For example, it can be roe deer, fallow deer and red deer. You can charge your electric car with us. We have separate electricity meters, so you will be charged according to the daily rates found at other public charging stations.

Sofa can also be converted to 2 sleeping places, if the need is 6 overnight. From two lovely wooden terraces and the large plot the sun can be enjoyed from early morning to late evening.

In addition, you will have your own exit to Gilbjergstien, with direct access to the city and hiking trails along the sea. Leave your car. You won't need it anymore. The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

Hornbæk - two minutes from Hornbæk Plantage

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a two-minute walk to Hornbæk Plantage. It is a dog forest and it only takes 10 minutes to walk down to the coast. Dogs are welcome, but we are old school and do not accept dogs in the bed, chair, sofa and other furniture. Your dog must be able to sleep on the floor and we are happy to provide a dog bed.

Sommerhuset med havudsigt ligger 140m fra vandet og har privat stigang direkte ned til stranden med lækker badebro. Huset har en yderst fredelig beliggenhed på 1250 m2 stor skøn naturgrund for enden af en lille blind grusvej. Sommerhuset er på 58m2, lyst indrettet med højloftet stue. Der er både varmeblæser og brændeovn i huset.
