Wonderful home for our extended family ski vacation. Even larger than we expected (and needed), clean, great amenities, well maintained and easy 20 min drive to Alpine. Highly recommended for a group vacation to Tahoe. Loved our stay and would definitely return again if possible.

Great cozy place to stay! Super clean and great location. Catherine was great to communicate with and plenty of space for humans and pups! Fireplace is lovely! Only note, is internet occasionally dips out. This is important only if you plan to work or join zoom calls. You may get disconnected.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Cynthia's home in Tahoe. We felt right at home in the comfortable, spacious living room and bedrooms. The house was clean and stocked with amenities, from all cooking necessities to games to bath products. I loved the location close to downtown Truckee, but in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard for playing in the snow. Cynthia was responsive and super helpful with the few questions I had. We would love to stay at this property again in the future, for either a winter or summer trip to North Lake Tahoe. Thank you, Cynthia!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. The house was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was perfect for our family—spacious, cozy, and well thought out. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. It was so peaceful to soak in while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We ended every evening out there and it made the trip feel like a treat. The backyard was another favorite—, with plenty of room for the kids to explore and play while the adults relaxed. The setting felt so peaceful, with lovely touches that made it feel special. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a space that’s both fun and relaxing for families. We’d absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with all the comforts of home.

We had an amazing stay at Terrie's home. Super easy check in, beautiful area, and it was closeby to a lot of different things. I would recommend this listing to anyone traveling to the Truckee area!

Everything was great. Clean home that had everything we needed, quiet neighborhood, easy check in, nice area to walk your dogs, short and easy drive to Reno. Kelvin was very accommodating and quick to answer all of my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Matthew’s home was a great stay. The house was clean with lots of space. The living room and kitchen are modern and cozy. It snowed while we were there so the surrounding of the house completely transformed. Each room was large and each had warm blankets and comfortable pillows. Matthew was attentive and very responsive about sending details and checking in on us prior to and during our stay. We will definitely return.

Exactly what we were looking for! We wanted one night away with our two dogs and this was PERFECT. The dogs were so happy I was scared they would never want to leave. The house is so CUTE and super cool. Loved how off the grid and fully prepared the house was

This stay exceeded our expectations. Spent our Christmas here and left before our pop Christmas tree arrived in the mail. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree along with other Christmas decorations already up, all throughout the house and outside. It made our holiday special. Also, the only kitchen we’ve seen fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make homemade meals. Thank you Brad for the attention to detail. There was absolutely nothing we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Truly a beautiful get away spot. Perfect cabin in the woods, close to the lake. Really enjoyed being a 5 minute drive to the water, lots of hiking/running trails close by.

This was our second time staying here because we had loved it so much the first time. It’s a comfortable and spacious cabin in a gorgeous location that is quiet and secluded, right by the river. The house is clean, with many amenities, and the hosts provide clear instructions for everything.

Greg is a wonderful host with a wonderful house. My crew had a super comfortable stay! We were a large group, and there was plenty of space for all of us—quiet, beautiful views. The house was clean, as described. Overall, it was a great place, and I would recommend it!

We had a great time! We loved the huge windows to enjoy the gorgeous scenery! My kids loved playing upstairs in the game room! Also loved how the house is placed sort of by itself with no neighbors right next door. We’d stay here again for sure!

Cozy cabin. Innovative ‘passive house’ style. The Fredrick air conditioning. Beautiful Tahoe Donner neighborhood. Good communication from hosts. One small issue with a lock which was fixed quickly. Lots of space - could do two families with kids.

We had a great time staying at Ann's place for the weekend! Highly recommend, and would stay again if ever back in the area.

We had such a great time as a family. The location of this particular cabin is so nice having a family with young ones. We went for the snow and will be coming back! It’s so much nicer to be able to come back warm up, cook a meal and relax before taking the family back out. Va the alternative of driving home. We did make it easy on ourselves and brought our own air fryer to speed up some of the meals I had planned for the family.

We love the privacy and the large forested area in the back. The place was exactly as shown in the picture. Master suite is large and spacious and kitchen is well equipped. Natalie is a very responsive host and I do recommend the place.

this place is just off the charts amazing. i lived in a wonderful log cabin for years, but this one is just a step above, top notch. the floor plan is open with soaring ceilings and views out the back that stretch all the way to the glow of reno in the evening. the property is fully landscaped in the front, and the back has about an acre or so that has been cleared. our kids loved playing in the back yard hunting lizards and catching grasshoppers. can't say enough about this place, everything was just perfect. we will def be returning to this place yearly, maybe even twice a year. hats off to the host, couldn't ask for a better experience.
