We had a brilliant time. The place was just as imagined, very clean and we appreciated all the little touches Wendy provided like milk, water, tea, coffee, shower gel, blankets, games, books, cooking oil! All the little things which are easy to forget and a hassle to buy. It was a lovely site and the kids had a great time. The golf course was in great condition and not too busy. Played my best golf! We met some nice people and had some great days out to the seaside and national trust sites. Great for a family of four or less.

Really great stay thank you. I booked this lodge for my very elderly mum as we live locally and my mum can't cope with the stairs in my home. My 87 year old mum managed really well here. She was warm and comfortable, with Mary the owner keeping an eye on her - just in case! Parking and access was really easy and the accommodation was just what we needed. My mum is keen to book again!

The house and gardens are amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean, the house and gardens are in first class condition, and the rooms are all very comfortable. We all made use of the cinema room which is a real treat. There is a small shop just across the road, and there are several supermarkets close by. We didn’t use the nearest pub,The Rising Sun, but it is very close by and easily walkable. We did try to get in for lunch on Easter Sunday, but it was fully booked so I’m presuming it is good.

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend staying in Michael’s beautiful and immaculately kept converted Victorian Railway carriage. The carriage is beautiful and very quirky both inside and out. It was very easy to find and recognise from Michael’s directions and pictures. It is set on the side of a quiet village road with a very large field/old orchard at the back, which our 2 dogs absolutely loved. There are also many long walks around the local area on your doorstep. The carriage is in a perfect location for easy access to the surrounding areas of Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Sandringham Palace(must see) and the many beaches around The Wash. Michael is a lovely gentleman and a great host, who popped by to say hello and have a quick chat. Making sure everything was ok and answer any questions we may have had. I highly recommend a stay in Michael’s railway carriage, as it’s a hidden gem and a great place to unwind!
