Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Goonhavern

Alison's kind hospitality & welcoming was excellent & the accommodation was stunning & immaculate. If you like a quiet location it's ideal but travelling across Cornwall is no problem as main rd's are accessible from Helston. Alison gave us some good recommendations for restaurants which we tried & were delighted with.

Most importantly, Matt and Daniel are fabulous hosts. They make you feel most welcome and are so helpful and friendly. Without hesitation would recommend staying at their beautiful apartment, which in truth feels like being welcomed into their fabulous home. Will definitely stay there again and this time for longer. We loved it ❤️

Had an amazing weekend in st Ives thanks to Paul who sent instructions beforehand and upon arrival the place was immaculate. Beds were super comfy my 5 year old even slept in which is VERY unlike him🤣 Great location restaurants are 5⭐️ And the views from the apartment you could watch all day and the beaches are beautiful Would definitely recommend if your looking to book :)

Lisa’s place was so charming and comfortable. The view was amazing! We loved eating outside after making meals in the fully, well equipped kitchen. We also loved sitting in the pretty sunroom. It was a quick walk to the train which took us into St Ives. Also a short but steep walk to the beautiful beach, just bring your own beach towels, chairs or mat because none are provided. Lisa left us a nice bottle of wine and offered to let us check in early once the cleaning was done. We had a very relaxing stay.

We had an amazing stay at Ross and Daniel’s apartment. Ross met us at check in and went the extra mile even helping us carry our things! The apartment was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail really impressed us, the hosts had clearly put in a lot of effort to make sure guests felt at home there. The apartment is right by the harbour so is near lots of local shops and restaurants which we loved! Ross and Daniel were on hand throughout our stay to help with anything, they were really friendly and gave us lots of local recommendations, we really loved our stay and already can’t wait to visit again!

Stayed here for 4 nights, it was a shame it was work related as the place is lovely and would of liked to of spent more time here. Lovely spot, great location and would definitely stay here again :)

Great quirky apartment with a lovely outdoor space. Only a 20 minute walk to the beach, pubs, cafe and shops in Porthtowan. Alex is a great host and would highly recommend this apartment for a leisurely break in Cornwall.

Beautiful house and surroundings. Short drive to the beach. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. Lisa was great at responding to any queries. Would definitely go back again.

Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

What an amazing find! Utterly private and feels very rural. Even though the lovely village of St Agnes and glorious beaches and towns are only a short distance away! Very cosy and eclectic home with some delicious treats and a bottle of fizz left by Kate and Simon. If you do stay, you HAVE TO use Sunny Spice, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Best South Indian food and yummy dosas I’ve had outside of London or Kerala! Thank you for making us so welcome and for the brilliant recommendations of places to go and local eateries.

A gorgeous house within walking distance of Hayle beach. The house was brilliantly appointed and was very comfortable. Gorgeous views over the estuary enhanced our stay. Annie was a great host - very responsive and informative.

Myself my partner John and our two dogs stayed at “the Piggery “may 2025 for a few days while we explored Cornwall. We found the cottage spotless and had everything we needed . Even a washing machine and dish washer . It was lovely and private and we enjoyed the hot tub . It is not over looked in-fact there are fields at the back of the property. There was an enclosed garden for our two dogs . The bed was really comfortable with good sheets . Overall a fantastic place to stay .

Really lovely accommodation and location. Amazingly well equipped for a rental, especially the kitchen. Sunday Roast at the very local pub is amazing. Can fault the beach cafe for food, drink, service and location. We will be back

This property was an absolute gem! Location near the beach and pubs was amazing and Holywell is stunning. Facilities within the house were spot on, everything you could need and more! The BBQ and garden area with the hot tub were fantastic and everything was spotlessly clean. In short an absolutely fabulous Air BnB experience and we would definitely book again. It is almost under the viaduct but there is almost no sound from trains so do not let that put you off even if a light sleeper. Very convenient location for the centre of town.

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

Flat was nice and cosy, very clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive and gave clear instructions. Flat was close to the beach and in an ideal location, however the neighbours were rather noisy. Apart from that, a great stay! Thank you Lucy!

We stayed here for 4 days of our ‘mini moon’. We wanted to enjoy peace and quiet and an easy trip to the beach. It ticked all those boxes. Porthtowan is a treasure going back to my husbands childhood. The accommodation was so peaceful, clean and comfortable. Dominique was very helpful in sending some recommendations before we arrived which were all well utilised. The walk can be challenging as it is a bit of a climb (only slightly and took around 6 minutes) but completely worth the views and the peaceful feel on top of the cliff. Thank you for having us!

One of the best air b and b's I have ever stayed in. absolutely flawless. a wonderfully comfortable, beautifully clean, tranquil space. the facilities on offer are second to none. I lived here for 8 days and felt truly at home. I was very sad to leave such a wonderful apartment. excellent location close to all you could need. host was on hand at a moments notice and nothing was too much trouble. many thoughtful extras included to top off a fantastic stay.

My husband and I and our adult daughter had 3 wonderful days at Riverview. The photos and description on the Airbnb site are accurate but don’t really do it justice. The apartment is modern, bright with every room having a stunning view. The balcony is huge and it is bathed in sunlight up until about midday. It was a pleasure sitting on the deck having Bkfst or sitting in the evening with a drink enjoying the view and sounds of the birds. There is an allocated off road carpark. The apartment is below road level so there is a flight of stairs to go down, which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The owners of the apartment live in the apartment above. We never heard them walking around. We did meet them on the street and they are an extremely friendly couple. Highly recommend the walking tour “Falmouth Uncovered” with Will. Highly informative and entertaining. Will is a real character and was the highlight of our day in Falmouth. Highly recommend “Riverview”.

Such a lovely break. Good communication from hosts, all the information you need. Beautiful location and would definitely stay again. The hosts went above and beyond providing all the cleaning materials, toilet roll etc. As they say beat views on Newquay and we all had a fabulous stay and would will definitely book again.
