Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Goonhavern

Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leafy Vale cottage, Chris & Sarah very friendly hosts and helpful. Location is peaceful with local village walkable within 20 minutes. Local village shop is a must for morning croissants and a coffee. Perranporth beach around 45 minutes walk along a trail away from the main road. Cottage had everything we needed and would highly recommend it to any other couples with a dog.

We stayed for the weekend as a family of 6 adults. We had plenty of space and had everything in the place we could possibly have needed. Location is wonderful for visiting Perranporth and surrounding areas and the view is just perfect. The property is at the top of a steep hill so may not be walkable for everyone but it’s only a very quick car journey and that gets you straight into the town.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

We had such a lovely time exploring Cornwall from Porthtowan.:) The accommodation was exactly as described and the perfect spot to relax after our busy days.:)

We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

A nice place to stay in St Agnes and was walking distance to the beach

The consistency of reviews led me to book and just says it all. 3 generations, all very happy....we usually eat out a fair bit but enjoyed the space so much we barely did. The feeling is of a huge, comfortable house with an immediately homely and easy air. The kitchen is as at home...every utensil..even a baking cupboard..not treading on eggshells in a cold corporate space, but sharing a family home which has clearly been a haven for generations. Thank you to Joy for her lovely proactive tips...we slept soooo well....and made the most of every moment...the sign of a week well spent in the most comfortable of places.

When we arrived at the lodge, after a 6 hour drive it was absolutely amazing. The location was perfect, it looked so nice when we were driving towards it to park. On entrance it has the wow factor & you definitely just wanted to take off your shoes & relax. It is like home from home. Tracey does have a good eye for interior design. It has a very high spec & very very clean. We will definitely go back if we get the chance. Communication & instructions were all excellent. We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

Just spent a long weekend with family at this amazing place, it really has the wow factor! Beautiful countryside views, lovely tastefully decorated accommodation, with a fantastic pool and hot tub. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location. We enjoyed early morning walks to watch the cows come back from milking and listening to the owls hooting at night. Melanie is such a lovely lady, so warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. We enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be returning. Oh Wow! Adorable! Such a peaceful, tastefully decorated, cosy and well equipped haven in the woodlands. Literally so easy to get to and fabulously placed for St Ives, Mousehole, The Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount…. The list is endless. Tina is such a warm and responsive host too. Not only was Butterfly Rest itself beautifully inviting but Tina also, made us feel so welcome through her communications with us. We actually didn’t even eat out…. It was just so nice after our busy days, to come home and prepare food to enjoy at leisure, especially with the view of the squirrels visiting to see if we had popped any nuts or sunflower seeds out for them (seeds provided by Tina)… so cute ❤️ Thank You Tina, your thoughtful decoration and equipping of Butterfly Rest made it a fabulous stay for us! ❤️

Just want to say a massive thankyou again! We had a lovely time staying at Blue View and the flat had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped & the views are to die for!! The pool was heated so I was able to take my 4 month old son in there who loved it! Kirsten & Ben are very friendly and even had the flat ready for us a couple of hours before the usual check in time :D we will definitely be back next year! X

We stayed here as a family with our baby and dog. Beautiful house with a wonderful garden at the back. Everything you needed in the kitchen to make your own meals. The house was so clean and tidy. The location was good for what we needed with some lovely walks around. We definitely recommended! Karen was very accommodating to us providing us with a high chair and cot. A lovely holiday and so nice to come back and relax in the evening!

Can’t say how happy we were when we arrived here! Perfect location , great hosts and a spotless, beautifully decorated modern home! Great space for our family to spend some lovely time together, including a fully enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking in Perranporth! Everything you need right on your doorstep within a few minutes walking distance! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind! Thank you so much Stephen and family we will be back soon xx

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back next year. The accommodation was cosy and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for us, with Perranporth just down the road, Falmouth nearby and Penzance not too far away either, it was perfect. The outdoor space was gorgeous, plenty of outdoor seating for drinks in evening and we enjoyed wandering around the lake / pond watching the sunset. Theres ample opportunities for walks from the accommodation aswell so after a long drive we loved wandering the lanes to stretch our legs. The homemade scones and Rattler were a lovely surprise after a long journey. We couldn't fault this accommodation and can't wait to be back soon, thank you so much Robin!

Perfect stay for couples, by the sea with beautiful views and a tucked away area, team were helpful when we needed them, apartment had everything we needed, couldn’t fault it one bit would definitely come again!!
