Monthly Rentals in Golden Cross

It was a lovely, peaceful space which was just what we needed. The dog loved it, and the dog biscuits and dog blanket were such a lovely touch. We appreciated the flowers, oil, eggs and milks left in the kitchen for us to use. The pub nearby did some lovely food too and having the hot tub to relax in was amazing. Only slight hiccup was the bed, it didn’t have a middle support underneath so it felt a bit insecure but all in all this is a lovely air BnB - definitely a 5 star spot.

Really enjoyed our time here. The space felt larger than it had looked from the photos and the garden aspect and birdsong exceeded my expectations. Very clean, quiet and comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. A fantastic location to get away from it all and a great base to explore the local area - Seven Sisters cliff walk, the South Downs, the delightful village of Alfriston and Lewes.

We spent a wonderful 5 days at Hesmonds. Stephanie’s instructions/directions sent prior to the check in date were clear and helpful. There was a lovely welcome pack of the essentials such as milk, bread etc waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. It is in a beautiful location and has its own private entrance as well as space to park the car. It is within walking distance of the local pub, coffee shop and village store and a short drive to lots of lovely villages as well as the south coast. We will definitely come back to visit again.

This was a great find in a central location. The place was immaculate and is dressed to a high standard. It was surprising how spacious the house was one inside. It was really homely, peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely come and stay here again.
