Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Goeree-Overflakkee

We had gotten a good idea of the cottage through the advertisement. We were also pleasantly surprised. We were warmly welcomed by Dave and received clear instructions. The cottage is very complete and attractively decorated, with attention to detail. We have enjoyed using the kitchen, where everything has been thought of. The garden is beautiful and spacious, with lots of privacy. We also found the area surprising, there is a lot to see. We got tips from Dave, which we used. We will definitely come back!

Traveling in Europe for two months and this has been our favorite place. Coby was so friendly and helpful. We spent time with her and her husband Wilem and feel we’ve made Dutch friends.

We had four perfect days at the Bed&Broodje. Ingrid is a super nice and caring host. She prepared the best breakfast. Every day she brought different rolls or croissants or special treats to our door. We always had syrup, sprinkles, peanut butter and cheese at the apartment. The beds are very comfy and we all slept very good (including our little kids). Our daughters loved the garden with the hammock and chickens around the house..they always stayed outside searching for fresh eggs...but also inside the house we had plenty of games and books to discover :) All in all we loved our stay with Ingrid and would definetely come back any time!! We loved to stay there and have spent a restfull time. 4 nights was definitely a little too short time, especially as we had some rain on 2 days. Spent a week in the beautiful vacation home of Marleen and Wout. The house was perfectly equipped, everything was very well maintained, excellent!!! Communication with Marleen and Wout also worked out great and they always provided us with all the important information quickly. From Herkingen you can easily reach all excursion destinations by car. We were very, very pleased that we were able to spend our week in Herkingen in this beautiful vacation home. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We felt completely at home in the tastefully furnished vacation home where everything you can think of is present. Quiet location and yet only 1 km from the city center with a supermarket and great restaurants so you can do everything on foot. We have enjoyed the area and have explored Schouwen Duiveland on the gravel...

We came with 4 people and left with 4 very content, slightly soggy souls. Yes, it rained, but this artsy little haven made us forget all about the weather. The house is full of quirky character—think spiral staircases, secret bunk beds behind red doors, and furniture that has a better backstory than we do. The hosts are clearly creative geniuses with a hammer in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. Every corner tells a story. Would we come back? Absolutely. Next time hopefully with sunscreen instead of rain boots.

The house proposed by Jacob is very cute with a lovely garden. We found the house very clean and well taken care of. Jacob was very fast in answering our queries and in general we had a very enjoyable holiday!

We had a really nice short vacation and felt very comfortable in Ingrid's apartment. Ingrid is a very nice and helpful landlady with valuable tips for the area. Just super hospitable. There is so much to experience and discover, Zeeland is definitely worth a trip. We highly recommend a stay with Ingrid and would be happy to come back. Thank you.

Great location at the corner of the harbour. Restaurants at 5 min walk. Safe spot to stall the bikes and lovely place to stay. Small but practical kitchen with all necessary amenities. Clean bathroom and sufficient towels. If I am around I will reconsider this place. We had a good time. Helpful host 🙏🏼

Lovely and beautiful place to stay. I absolutely love the decor and the charm of the house. It’s well-equipped and everything is available to use, with nice personal touches. Laurie is flexible, responsive and understanding, especially in terms of check-in and out; the process is easy. Definitely will book again if we’re in the area.

The accommodation had everything we needed for our weekend in Zeeland. Everything was in perfect order, with attention to detail: fresh sheets, liquid soaps, and all the basic necessities in the kitchen were provided. But above all: the house was really squeaky clean — a pleasure to arrive in! Our children (14 and 16) are now a bit big for the park itself, but in the area there is plenty to do. The apartment is therefore ideal for families with younger children, who will certainly find their liking in the facilities and the location.

I had a wonderful stay! Bellatrix is a lovely and welcoming host, and the place is absolutely beautiful—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I stayed with my dog Siva and we both loved the place and the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Completely satisfied, Wilma is a perfect host. Flexible and easy to reach. The apartment is located right in the center and the shops/restaurants. The beach is about a 20-minute walk away. The parking lot and the super clean apartment with sun spot in front of the door gave us beautiful days. Not to forget the snacks and drinks on our arrival. We'd love to come back!

Great location and great host. Very big and clean room, well stocked kitchen, very nice garden and terrace. All peaceful and quiet. Tineke and Marcel were also very friendly. Picked us up from the bus station and explained everything in the room when we got there. Will definitely stay here again if opportunity arises.

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had a great time in Carlien's beautiful studio!The studio is very tasteful and lovingly furnished - we felt immediately comfortable! The beautiful terrace belonging to the studio and the 2 associated bicycles were also great. We used them a lot! Carlien is a very friendly, warm host who was always available - we will definitely come back to this cute studio - it was a great vacation!

We spent a few days in Zoutelande and felt very comfortable in Leny's apartment. It is very comfortably furnished and it has everything you need for relaxing holidays. The kitchen was also super equipped. The location of the apartment is optimal, there are some restaurants, shopping and also a baker for delicious breakfast rolls right around the corner. A bike rental is also a 5-minute walk away, as is the beach. Overall, we had wonderful days and can fully recommend Leny's apartment.

Beautiful village and accommodation was in the Main Street with shops and restaurants. Very quiet and beautiful apartment. We stayed during the King’s Day celebrations and it was excellent fun! We will stay again!

A beautiful bright apartment and wonderfully quiet at night. The bicycles provided free of charge were particularly great. Richard was kind and responsive. The toilet is a little uncomfortable, which is separate, but very tight, so that large people cannot sit comfortably.
