Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Goat Island

I had four guys working and this place worked perfect. We had a problem o our doing getting locked out and Jason had someone let us in in 10 minutes. He was so easy to deal with. loved this place.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Gloria was super friendly and very fast to respond to my questions before check in. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and I had no reason to contact her after we checked in!!

We enjoyed a great week at Marta's over spring break. She made things very easy. The house was perfect for us and our four young kids and an easy walk to the beach. Both the gas grill and the beach wagons were put to good use, and the sound of the ocean (esp. at night) was a constant calming presence. For the birder in me, it's a 5 minute drive from a Lafitte's Cove, where we saw egrets, spoonbills, cormorants, ducks, gallinules, and herons.

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The location was perfect with just about a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it super convenient to go back and forth throughout the day. Margaritaville was only about 10 minutes down the road, and was nice to visit for the day if you want to enjoy a pool and drinks! Both a grocery store and a corner store were just a short drive away, which made getting stuff we forgot at home, easy! The house itself was exactly as advertised — everything was very clean and looked just like it did in the listing. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every utensil you could possibly need, making it easy to cook whatever we wanted. The owner was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient beach getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back later this year!

We’ve stayed at many locations from ABB. This place had unmatched hospitality, toiletries, and conveniences. We have a house in the same neighborhood but when it was full needed a place to go. The fishing was awesome right of the back canal. The fenced dog run made the stay very accommodating to our French Bulldogs. 10/10 review from us. We will definitely be back. The owners are very relaxed and just made it easy to enjoy. Best holiday ever!!

We were very happy with our accommodations. House was clean, well stocked kitchen and short walk to beach. Rob’s house provided many activities for the kids and lovely fenced yard for our beloved dog. My grandkids were quite excited about our stay and we were provided with an early check in to get our holiday weekend started right away. Communication was outstanding and we look forward to our next stay! ( planning soon).

i needed a place for my family , to attend the galveston ironman , and this place was awesome. will definitely come back . great host .

Pam’s place is an absolute gem! If you’re in Galveston, definitely consider booking her place. It is extremely spacious, very clean, and has very nice amenities. The kitchen area in particular is large. The bed is very comfortable as well. Pam is also the perfect host! She has excellent recommendations for the local area. She also is extremely responsive, checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and is extremely accommodating. We were in town so I could race Ironman 70.3 Texas. Perfect location and just a few minutes from the race venue. We highly recommend Pam’s place!

Joey was extremely responsive. One of the remotes broke during my trip and he had batteries and a replacement on my doorstep within an hour. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is awesome, it's close to everything, within walking distance, don't have to pay to park your vehicle you can just walk, clean place and very nice people!

I've stayed here twice now. Tom & Rose are superhosts. If you need anything, they are very responsive. The suite is private and has everything you could need. The location is beautiful and quiet. This is more like staying at a private estate property. The landscape is beautiful and Tom is often outside working on grounds. The suite is always clean, neat and edited. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful place near the beach, you can walk on the sand every morning! Its beautifully decorated with palm trees on the property and a BBQ Grill. It has all the amenities both big (on site laundry, well-lit parking) and small (coffee maker, toaster ect.) as well as being incredibly peaceful. The neighborhood is filled with bright colorful houses and one neighbor even has gorgeous chickens running around and is always grilling in his yard, It really gives the feeling that your not it the city anymore your on "The Island" which is what everyone in Galveston calls it. Frank & Krista are incredibly helpful and responsive it never takes more than 30 minutes for them to get back to you about anything and when a snow storm was coming (Snow in Texas!) they messaged me to be sure I was aware and safe! All in all I would say that its the perfect Airbnb for both short term or long term stays. Five Stars, 10/10 highly recommend!

Very clean and good location.

We had such an amazing stay. Karlsen’s place was within walking distance of so many restaurants and activities and the place was so cute and amazing, too! We came with our dog too and he had such a blast and felt right at home. We will definitely be coming here again 🩷

The home was perfect, loved the old charm mixed with modern decor. It looked exactly like the photos and was immaculate. We needed someone near our cruise terminal and much to our surprise we got to watch our ship come into dock from the living room windows. Would definitely stay here again.

Mary's place was a really great value and was perfect for what we needed on this trip. We liked being able to watch our teens from the balcony and they liked being able to walk to the beach on their own. It felt very safe.

We loved the location. The beach was beautiful, so great to be able to walk right onto the beach from the complex. Moody Gardens is just a short drive away. The condo was clean and welcoming. My teen slept on the pull out couch and was comfortable. Walter was very proactive and guided us through every step. We had everything we needed, wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely like to come back for a future stay.

Very nice condo and amazing views. The parking and luggage carts were easy to find. The checkin/checkout receptionists were a little condescending and seemed to look down on the Airbnb guests (vs the owners). The condo itself was very beautiful and the amenities + beach view were fantastic. The whole family Loved this area.

Personally we loved that this little condo was down the strip from all the restaurants; provided peaceful surroundings and a not crowded beach experience. We did drive up ten minutes every night for dinner…we ate at The Spot, Doc Holidays and Rainforest Cafe. The condo itself was exactly as described; the bunk beds in the entry way was a perfect use of space to allow bigger families to have ample beds. Would definitely stay again!

Great location right next to the beach and close to town. Access to amenities including pool and hot tub. Would recommend!

Our stay at this condo was excellent. The unit was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized, making for a very comfortable experience. Its location is ideal—conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, attractions, and local points of interest. Overall, it served as a perfect home base for our visit. We would certainly choose to stay here again in the future.

Tremendous host of a convenient spot to stay on the island. Sri was very accommodating, even made sure we had a pack n play for our 14 month old who had no issues adjusting to a new place for the week.
