Gem of a place! Very unique house in a prime location for exploring the derbyshire dales or the peak district. I couldn’t recommend this stay more!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a perfect space for our family with plenty of space for us and our dog. The location was great - perfect for accessing the countryside and the city - with all the amenities needed for during our stay.

Great place to spend a few days! Amazing location to The Ashes Barn wedding venue as well as lovely local parks. The accommodation was small but adequate, loved the porch area for all bags and dog stuff! Bedroom definitely big enough for a travel cot and a plus having a bath to clean the little one! Have recommended it to others already :)

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Excellent property, very clean and Dan was always at the end of the phone for anything we required, including recommendations for the family trip. Highly recommended.

The house was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay, it's very close to a large park where we had lovely sunny walks. The location was perfect for us as it's very close to where my sister lives and also lots of shops and a great cafe (Mediterranean Cafe) very close. Heather was really helpful and responsive and had all we needed to stay very comfortably with our 7 month old baby. We would come back here in a heartbeat as it was such a great experience. We absolutely loved our stay here. The host was so friendly and easy to communicate with — always quick to respond and really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The cottage itself was super cozy and had such a warm, welcoming feel. The calm and quiet of the surroundings gave us the space to truly relax. We’d definitely love to come back!

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

We had a fantastic break. 2 families with kids of different ages and the dogs of course. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the house was kitted out perfectly. We absolutely loved the swim spa and hot tub. We would definitely book the house again.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Had such a wonderful stay at this location. The amenities were amazing, particularly loved the farm produce and onsite pool! The hosts were always responsive and keen to help. The place was spotless and well stocked! Would love to stay again!

A Beautiful restoration of a 19th century chapel . My grandchildren thrived in the huge rooms & giant sofa & So many hiding places! My daughter relaxed in the pool & sauna . It was a perfect break Thankyou Samantha

A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.

Lovely place to stay was just unsure on the central heating but we switched it to auto and it came on at 6am didn’t really no how to use it shop nearby for all ur essential bits will definitely stay again thanks Carrie x

I was just as happy with this, my second stay at Emma's bungalow, as my previous stay The bungalow is clean, tidy, cosy and very well equipped for self catering It is a perfect location for me to visit family in Derby and I really like Belper itself Emma is very easy to communicate with and very responsive - she quickly came to my rescue with an apparent problem I had with the cooker! (the cooker wasn't faulty btw!) I hope to be stay here again and am happy to recommend to others

Lovely place, ideally located. Beds very comfy. Log burner was great and kicked out a lot of heat. Great pub a stones throw and a chippy. Nice touches with the bath salts and lovely smelling soap. DON’T forget your towels!

Our stay at the Grooms Lodge was our second and we're so glad we booked in advance to secure our Easter vacation here. Julie is a wonderful host who contacted us prior to arrival to check our ETA and to make sure everything was ready for our stay. The accommodation has everything we could need ie fridge, oven, kettle etc. The shower room is well speckled and very clean. Once we were parked on the private driveway we felt safe and secure letting our dog play and wander around the garden. Seeing the horses in the fields helps us to feel relaxed. Plus the canal is very close to the property so we enjoyed many morning strolls before joining our family for Easter celebrations. We both feel completely rested after our stay at The Grroms Lodge. We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Allie’s cosy cottage in such a beautiful spot in the peaks! The property was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The view from the kitchen was stunning... and a real bonus was getting to say hi to the lambs on the farm, which made the experience even more special. It is the perfect base for some beautiful hikes in the Peak District, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a countryside escape. Thank you, Allie! - Jeremy and Amelia
