Everything was as described, the bedroom is comfy and the garden very beautiful. It's amazing how well Paula used the small space.

A fantastic stay in the most picturesque place we have had the pleasure of staying. The accommodation was spotless and the facilities and amenities were spot on and great attention to detail on the welcoming items such as milk ready in the fridge etc. A real gem of a place and well worth a visit. Would love to come and stay again in the future

wow ,wonderfull house and location, very peaceful. spent most of the time on the Loch paddleboarding with the grandkids. Loch 30seconds from the house.

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞
