Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Glendale

Shev’s description is accurate, this home does not feel like an Airbnb. It feels like the home of a very chill, well-off uncle who travels & collects art most of the year & lets family stay at his incredible place. The view, the vibe, the location, the architecture are all a dream. The art, including a collection of Sister Corita Kent prints, is wonderful to spend time with, as are the furnishings that complement the mid-century period of the home. The collection of art books and folios is reason enough to just spend your vacation curled up in the library looking at the Neutra retrospective & fashion designer collection. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are super comfortable. Visit Porto’s bakery and Elena’s restaurant in Glendale, or take a short drive to so many cool neighborhoods. I’d have loved more time at Shev’s place just sitting on the deck or in the library. I hope to go back someday.

Victoria's house is comfortable and well-appointed. The decor is peaceful and throughful, and the kitchen is extremely well provisioned. We enjoyed cooking and lounging on the deck. The neighborhood was great for dog-walking. The use of the garage was much appreciated and necessary if you have two cars. The house guide had clear instructions. Overall, a great visit.

This was a very good place for my wife and I and son to visit LA. Smaller than the pictures implied, but with plenty of room for the essentials of our stay. Super clean. Host was friendly and ready to assist if we needed anything. Parking on the driveway was also quite nice.

Williams place is lovely. Private, clean and well appointed. The backyard access to a cute patio with bistro table was a bonus! The location was wonderful as it was walking distance to the Rose Bowl. Thank you so much. Had a great time!

Although Buena Vista Street is busy you won’t hear the traffic noise in this cozy one bedroom house. The house is nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, full bathroom with a walk in shower. The heat pump/mini split heating and cooling system worked flawlessly. The kitchen was complete with a gas range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker and refrigerator. I never had a problem parking. As a matter of fact I was able to park in the exact same place just to the right of the driveway. Be aware that there is no parking every Thursday from, I think, 10:00 till noon. There are plenty of signs posted on the exact time on Thursday that cars must not past. You can easily park across the street during that time. There is a Ralph’s Supermarket and a CVS Pharmacy about a mile away and you’re less than half a mile from I5. All in all a great two week stay. We were so happy with the rental. The house looked exactly like the pictures, it was very clean and organized, it had everything we needed for our 9-day stay. Kylee was a great host; she sent us instructions on everything in advance, so when we got there, it was a simple check-in. The house is extremely nice, and the location is great! We will definitely rent this house anytime we are in LA

Jerry was great. Very responsive and a delight when I spoke to him. He showed me to my room and around the house and was very welcoming.

Such a special spot. Had a wonderful couple weeks here. So peaceful and quiet and the layout of the space is amazing. A great studio space and a beautiful neighborhood. Was perfect!

this is our third time staying at elizabeth’s place and we’ll definitely be back a fourth time! the airbnb itself is lovely, absolutely a great place to rest and relax. the kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked-(which is completely unnecessary but very appreciated) and elizabeth herself is a delight. the airbnb is a very short walk from downtown, and the walk is gorgeous. can’t recommend this spot highly enough.

Excelente location. Very quiet and piece full. Walking distance from the Galeria Mall and area’s to shop as well as eating. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Alexa was also a great host. She was always in contact to make sure we were doing okay.

Our place was clean, welcoming and check-in was seamless. Great area with plenty of restaurants, shops, walking spaces to explore and hiking close by. Would stay again!

Staying at Jeffery’s place in Pasadena was such a treat. He was super helpful and quick to respond anytime we needed something. The apartment is beautiful—quiet, private, and nestled in a really gorgeous neighborhood. It honestly felt like a little escape, but still close to everything: awesome restaurants, cute shops, and some great hiking spots. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better spot or a kinder host. Highly recommend!

2nd time staying here. Again was very happy. Great and beautiful location. Quiet. Safe. Parking right in front. Hosts responsive to needs. We needed a few things 1st night and they were immediately taken care of. Such a beautiful location. Excellent stay for the money. Highly recommend

Wonderful stay. Beautiful view from the porch, easy access to the highway and walkable to fantastic restaurants and bars. Very ideal and reasonably priced for LA. Exactly what we were looking for when we looked for a place for a C long weekend. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Beef was comfortable and place was roomy enough for us.

Sarah’s place was great! Very clean with easy check in instructions. Space is cute with easy parking and close to shops/restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Selina was a very responsive host with a nice little place. Very clean and no frills. Bonus points for the gated private parking spot. If you are looking for a place to stay, with all the essentials and at a fair price, I would highly recommend.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Nice place. Quiet. I had no issues getting in. The bathroom was clean. Kitchen was clean. They had a steamer for my clothes which was nice as well.

George’s place was delightful. The perfect location to connect with friends in Eagle Rock and Pasadena, and go out to a concert in Los Feliz. Safe and clean parking garage underneath the building. And a quiet location, even though the building is on a Main Street. We were able to walk around the corner to Bea Beas for brunch, and it was delicious. Highly recommend George’s place.

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

Great stay - impeccably clean, convenient setup, walkable to Americana and restaurants (Regent coffee is amazing!), and I couldn't resist using the facilities - the deck and the gym. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!
