Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Glen Rose

We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, walk-in pantry, family sized dinner table, comfortable beds, large closets, outside seating area, private and gated lot, and great AC! We would book again!

Check-in was a breeze, and the home was very cozy. We're a hot-natured family, and the AC was amazing! Each bedroom and bathroom was very spacious. Child safety is a big deal for us; I'd definitely give 5/5 stars in that area. We spent most of our time in the pool area, cooking; you can sit, eat, and still keep an eye on the kids. Would definitely book again!

Quaint home, conveniently located downtown very clean very nice lots of small and thoughtful amenities. Beautiful, detailed fixtures. Great space for a family. Easy to cook in the kitchen.

Nicole was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we first messaged. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished. Everything was high quality. We loved every minute of being there and relaxed as if we were at home. There was something for each member of the family and we made full use of the BBQ, deck, fishing, nature watching and the amazing hot tub. This is highly recommended to anyone and we sincerely hope to return and explore Granbury and local area more. We couldn't drag ourselves away for too long but the drive in movie was great fun..

Christy is an excellent host and always does a good job of responding to messages. The place is beautiful and well kept. It is excellent for a quiet family get away. The location allows for paddle boarding, kyaking and good fishing off the dock. It is located in a quiet cove for relaxtion and a great place to get away.

Wonderful stay! so close to the square it made it so great to just walk everywhere. Bed was really comfortable. TV's in bedroom and living room were great. Didn't use backyard or living room much and didn't cook. Lots of eateries everywhere. Would stay again!

I stayed at this property for 53 days while on a temporary work assignment. The property is located is a quiet and safe gated community. My entire stay went without incident and would not hesitate to book this property again should the need arise. Although my primary purpose was work related, I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again for recreational purposes as there appeared to be a lot of lake activities that I was unable to take advantage of.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Went for two nights, 13 of us, for our annual weekend away celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday. The house was decorated so cute and had more than enough supplies - everything you would need to hang and cook in a home all weekend. We especially loved all the games they had to share. Huge table for the family to enjoy board games. An adorable welcome basket and snacks for the birthday girl - which was such a sweet touch. Our first time in Glen Rose and certainly not the last. The fire pit was also key for the evenings and enjoying family time. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a home to fit a close group of people for some quality time in the country.

This is a great location for decompressing. It is situated in beautiful rolling hills looking out upon a good size pond. The sunsets were amazing. The location was perfect for visiting family that lives nearby. It is a second floor location with only stairs. It didn't bother us any. The apartment is updated and clean. The owners live on site and are extremely nice. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends going to the area.

It was fantastic. Everything I wanted from an AirBNB and more! From the clawfoot bathtub, to the kitchenette with everything my girlfriend and I needed to cook meals, to the communication from the hosts, to the wonderfully safe feeling neighborhood, every part of our trip went off without a hitch. Penny was an amazing host, and if I was the grouchiest, most crotchety man alive, I wouldn’t be able to complain. 10/10, no notes

Great place, friendly and responsive host.

Wayne was very friendly, welcoming, and gave local insight. We had the kids (and dads) camping in the yard while mom’s slept in the a/c. The kids loved exploring the trails, looking for rocks, sticks, bugs, and flowers. Property is very close to the state park. However, the kids favorite place was Big Rock Park near downtown. We went each day we were there and also enjoyed a delicious “Funky Monkey” snow cone. We visit the area about once a year and have found nothing but kind hosts to take us in. We had a great time, and it was all possible because of this property and these hosts. I can’t thank them enough.

Third time renting and I always enjoy staying here to get away for a weekend and get some fresh air and sun. River was higher than normal and we took advantage of it. Wildlife is abundant, a pair of owls graced us with their presence each evening once the sun went behind the trees. Perfect trip.

We enjoyed our time at the Dilly Dally. Very unique place and lots of quirks to the lighting which my electrician husband appreciated.

Cute little place. Our first stay in a tiny home and it was a neat experience. It was peaceful which was exactly what we were looking for. I loved the books that were available in the cabin, they were just perfect. The town was adorable.

This place was a great getaway, the perfect cabin for me as a solo traveler.

The trip finally made it out of the group chat!! We booked Kim’s place for our first ever family trip and it was PERFECT! The babies had a blast being able to roam around inside and outside safely! Our pups enjoyed being able to run as fast as possible around the property 🥹 we had plenty of space for our two households and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals and snacks🤍 We loved every second of our little vacay! The view was incredible. Us adults enjoyed quiet early mornings and late nights on the big back porch 🤍
