The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! Kitchen closes at 9:00pm EST and restaurant closes at 10:00pm EST. 1 queen bedroom, 1 queen futon. SmartTv, Wifi.

Custom Log Cabin on the Ford River! In a secluded area close to 4Wheeling trails, family kayaking, great views, nature, family-friendly activities. It is one hour away from Marquette, also one hour away from Picture Rocks, plus some other areas of interest in the upper peninsula. You’ll love my place because of its serene surroundings in front of the river. It is a beautiful custom log cabin in a beautiful area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

Timber Barons wanted to live close to the waterfront for convenience when shipping their products. My adult son and I enjoyed our stay. We slept well on very comfortable beds under super cozy blankets. I only made coffee during my stay but the kitchen seemed to have all the basics if I had wanted to do more. I appreciated the USB outlets I noticed at several electrical outlets. I need to find another reason to come back.

Great place! Clean, nice decor, comfy beds and living room, well stocked kitchen supplies. It was like the pictures posted. Quiet & private home & neighborhood. Family Inn restaurant with good food right behind backyard! Worked great for my family of 5 adults, 1 child, & a dog. Fenced in backyard was nice to have. Dave was so helpful and friendly when we had the dates of our visit change, and we switched not only which weekend, but also switched from his other Airbnb - Sunset Lodge Guest House close by to his Idle Hour one. He was so accommodating working with me! This was our 2nd time renting from Dave, and we would stay at one of his houses again in the future.

Very nice accommodations in a quiet setting right on the river. The home is quite new and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night visit. It felt just like home, looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed here the weekend my son got married. It was perfectly located and close to where we needed to travel. The pool table was a fun addition and kept the groomsman entertained the night before the wedding. We would stay again and want to thank Scott for having a great place for the guys to get ready and make some great memories together!
