Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gladstone

We spent a long weekend here over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property is exactly as pictured and we had plenty of space for our group of 8. Beautiful views and the home was outfitted with everything we needed. Would highly recommend this rental and looking forward to coming back to enjoy during warmer weather.

This house is inviting with the most beautifully expansive views thanks to all of the windows. The dining and living room areas are actually walls of windows!! Just lovely!! But there is privacy with the easy to maneuver blinds. Plenty of fresh linens. Large beautiful kitchen. Plenty of space and cozy bedrooms as well! Phil was a great host, responding quickly and so very helpful. So very hospitable and friendly!! A MUST STAY!!

Jeremy’s place was clean, cute, and close to the lake and Ludington Park. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities that we needed were provided. He was very responsive in his communication and allowed us an early check-in so we could attend two funerals. We would definitely stay here again.

This was probably the best place we have stayed in for years. Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Big yard right on the water. Kayaks, bikes, fishing poles, and a great deck. That is just some of the outdoor fun. We really enjoyed our stay and Dawn and Brian were AMAZING hosts.

Beautiful and peaceful home. The host is extremely responsive and professional. We loved our stay! This place is good for a family, group of friends or just a weekend away by yourself!

We have lived in the area forever, driven by on a regular basis and finally got to see the inside. We had an amazing stay-cation. Perfect space for a great family get together.

I can't say enough good things about Nicole's cabin. It's clean, cozy, nice. I love how quiet it is, the cabin is back off the road a bit and surrounded by forest. We hiked some of the trails at night, it was great!

We had a great stay at Debra's place! The location was awesome being right on the beach and the views were spectacular. The cottage itself was spacious and clean, with plenty of sleeping and lounging areas. The outside deck was perfect for hanging out and dining. There is an abundance of water toys, games etc. This was one of the best equipped rentals we've stayed in. Everything we needed was there. All in all a perfect trip. 5 Stars all the way!

I stayed here for two nights, and overall, the experience was great! The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was responsive and made check-in easy. The only downside was the restroom, which was a bit small and not as modern as the rest of the space. However, this was clearly mentioned in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise, just something to keep in mind. All in all, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to others, especially for its convenience and comfort.

It was really clean and everything was in great condition. The communication was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Escanaba!

The beach house was spacious! We loved the view and the calm of nature! We loved the recliners too. The backyard had a great fenced in area for the dogs to play and my kids loved playing on the cold beach. I didn’t cook but the cupboards were stocked! I can’t wait to come back this summer!

My husband and I spent one night and it was a great little getaway. Very relaxing and peaceful. The host was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

This beautiful a-frame the perfect option for a nice secluded vacation. The host really put thought into the design of the housing including thoughtful touches like dimable lights and an indoor/outdoor Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is well designed and comfortable for two people to work in simultaneously. It's also very well stocked. We made three full meals with the stove and oven and grilled! The hot tub is so relaxing and its wonderful either listening to the sounds of nature around you or music through the outdoor speaker! We heard and or saw so many different types of birds including blue jays, cardinals, a variety of wood peckers, nut catches, quail, and even some sand hill cranes and turkeys. We also saw a small heard of deer and various squirrels. We were even lucky enough to get a thunderstorm and ice storm! This place was everything we expected and wanted. It was a quick trip down from Marquette, so we are considering visiting again in the fall!

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space! It was beautiful and the quality of the home was apparent. The views were spectacular. The area was quite private and secluded; just what we were looking for. The space was perfectly sized and appointed for our group. We were disappointed by the following things, which we shared with the owner bc we couldn’t tell if it was a disrespectful guest, or things that had been overlooked by a cleaner. We discovered a broken plate placed carefully under the other dishes; coffee grinds and water in the coffee maker; and a multitude of dirty dishes, including pans, bowls, glasses, silverware, and plates. Again, this is not necessarily the owners fault, but for the cost, we wanted to be sure they knew how we found things bc we didn’t expect to have to wash all of our dishes before using them! We were careful to follow all checkout rules and leave the space neat and tidy. Can’t beat the beautiful sunsets and views.

Loved our time here!! Beautiful house, relaxing hot tub, gorgeous property, and much needed peace and quiet for some quality time together. We will definitely be back!

Lots of traffic noise at this place but I think the hot tub makes up for it! It is in a great location to drive to the Pictured Rocks lakeshore and explore things in the way there. Super comfortable and the shower is awesome!
