We were a group of 8 staying at Villa Il Castellaccio and it was the most amazing experience. Leonardo was very helpful leading up to our stay helping plan a night with a private chef dinner. The food was some of the best we had! The Villa was private, more than enough space for our group and the grounds around the pool was always pristine. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful place. Our group already discussed coming back again and staying longer. Thank you Leonardo!

Staying in this villa in Tuscany was an absolute dream come true! The place is beautiful – surrounded by picturesque hills, full of peace and Italian charm. The villa itself is decorated with great taste, very clean, spacious and fully equipped – we lacked nothing. And the pool? A wonder! Perfect for relaxing with a view of the Tuscan landscapes, especially at sunset. We would like to especially thank the host – for the warm welcome, helpful tips and cordiality we felt throughout our stay. This place has a soul, and the atmosphere is conducive to true relaxation. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan experience – we will definitely be back! Aura and Massimillio were so kind and helpful. The recommendation for dinner was delicious. The home has so much character and history-it was a great change of pace from the busy city of Firenze. Just amazing to sit and relax by the pool with some wine and look at the countryside.

This place is fabulous. Margherita was responsive so quickly. We had a 11 people six adults and five kids. Loved the pool and hot tub. Margherita made reservations for us and suggested day trips. She even got a wheelchair for me for the Hill towns. Take advantage of their cooking. they did meals for us, which were fantastic. And even organized a birthday dinner for the three young girls. They did the birthday cake and even gave them a gift. It was fabulous. Don’t hesitate to book. We did day trips to Sienna, pisa,Luca, panzano, pienza and multipulciano. And two trips to the luxury mall.!Her parents are so helpful too. Olive oil and their wine is fantastic. The only regret I have is that we didn’t have extra days and spend the time right around villa. I think we would have really enjoyed the wine tasting and olive tastings. I would’ve stayed easily another week. Do take advantage of her massages too. My kids thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It exceeded my expectations!!!!! Ten stars!!!!!!

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The home is located at the top of a hill in a 6 hectare working olive grove. A couple of horses greeted us on our arrival. The space was beautiful, large and comfortable. Beds were great, the location was very quiet and the view from the property was fantastic. Our two boys were thrilled with the pool and we found it a refreshing way to wake up in the morning. We used it as a base to travel to Cinque Terre, Sienna, San Gimignano and other locations in Tuscany. If you are staying here, a car is recommended (which we did), as the bus is around 800m (half mile) down from the residence and that means, it would be a walk back up at the end of the day. We highly recommend this place and would go back.

We had a wonderful stay! The villa was spacious, peaceful, and perfect for our family. The host made us feel incredibly welcome when we arrived, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful help arranging car service and the delicious home-cooked meals provided for our group. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully located in a quiet area, ideal for relaxing. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area!

When you think of a quiet, beautiful place to rest and with all the amenities… this place fits perfectly!! Great breakfasts and everything homemade!! Finally, I'd like to highlight their kindness and know-how… a 10!!

Our stay felt like something out of a movie. Janine has decorated the home with love and attention to detail. We loved the pool and decided to spend a day doing nothing but lazing by the pool eating home cooked food in the amazing kitchen. Memories were made here and we will 100%. Return for a longer stay as you will not beat the view from Janine’s villa anywhere in Tuscany.

La Vignaccia is wonderful. We were a family of 6 adults plus a baby, and the set up was great for spending time together but also having plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group and the many private spaces were very relaxing. Working remotely was possible with the wifi but not super strong for calls. However there is 5G around the house, so hot spotting from a window worked fine.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa. The home and the grounds were magical! The beauty of the property and stunning, endless Tuscan views are unmatched. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor eating areas and relaxing by the pool. Located within a short distance to the town of Greve and the walled city of Montefioralle, we were perfectly positioned to enjoy all that the area had to offer. Giovanni was an outstanding host. He left us a detailed packet with all the information we needed as well as all of the best places to visit and things to do in and around the area. He was responsive and helpful, taking care of any issue we had quickly and efficiently. Living spaces and bedrooms were spacious and generously appointed. We would absolutely return!

David’s place embodies elegance and tranquility. Beautiful interior with intricate touches. The backyard was huge and our pup enjoyed running around on it. It’s as described in the pictures. David was also a very kind host. Responsive to our questions and insightful when it came down to recommendations. Highly recommend to anyone considering booking!

Great place to stay, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and very warm hosts! We lacked nothing. We were here with 7 people for our training camp and had a wonderful time in the villa. It's really even nicer than we would have expected from the pictures. Surrounded by olive trees and only a handful of other houses, you can perfectly unwind - whether by the pool, in the garden or in the house itself. Zara and Mark are very courteous and helpful. We immediately received an answer to every question and also a lot of helpful tips to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Zara showed us the area on a short morning hike. We would never have found these places without them. We will be back for sure.

Our family vacation to Villa Berni in Bottai was phenomenal, and it all started with the accommodations. Alessandro's brother, Enrico, met us as planned and gave us a tour of the villa. As requested, they provided 2 cribs for our grandbabies. With 6 bdrms and 5 bath, each couple had their own space, and the babies had their own rooms too. It was conveniently located taking 20 minutes to the Florence city center and other local towns provided everything we needed. Our favorite part of the villa was the garden courtyard. We had morning coffees and evening cigars/drinks. A bonus was the tortoises which the babies loved finding each morning to feed them strawberries. Part of the family farm, Enrico gave us a tour of the olive grove and farm animals. He even staged eggs for the grands to collect. Our last night, we arranged pro chefs to prep an authentic Tuscany dinner. This kitchen met their needs, and we ate in the courtyard. We couldn't ask for more...Thanks for hosting us!

just wanted to share how much I loved my time at this beautiful place. We were a family of 11 adults, and the house was perfect for a big group like ours. It’s very spacious and extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and everything you’d hope for in Tuscany. The swimming pool was one of our favorite spots, offering an amazing panoramic view of the nearby town—just breathtaking. Our host, Tatiana , was extremely kind and welcoming. One morning, we were surprised with a delicious selection of Italian pastries for breakfast—a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our stay even more special. It’s also a great place for children, with plenty of outdoor space and a safe, relaxing environment. I would absolutely recommend this stay to families or large groups looking for a memorable Tuscan escape. I’d definitely come back!

Lacopo was very responsive each time I needed to contact him. The place was very nice but remote. it was about 1 1/2 hours to drive to some of the other medieval cities. It rained a lot but also was beautiful because of the rain. Lacopo and his family were fantastic. The homemade meal his parents prepared for us was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals we had while in Tuscany! It was nice to see how active his parents were and how well they took care of the place. We were surprised to be charged if we used the pool towels. There was nothing mentioned in the description. We would recommend this place. There were 4 adults and we had plenty of room.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first experience in Tuscany and it did not disappoint. The house is very private, there is only 1 house behind it however from most viewpoints you cannot see it and we never saw anyone. Volterra is a beautiful medieval place that will make you feel like you are in a movie. An hour from Pisa, drivable to many many wineries in the surrounding regions, this air bnb is a perfect place to stay and we hope to return again.

We - a family of seven adults - had a really great stay at Bernardino's house. The house itself was very cosy and charming and contained everything we needed. The pool and the pool area, to which only we had access, was a fantastic extra asset which we enjoyed a lot. The nearby surroundings were also very nice with vineyards and woods. We even spotted three seldom orchids and heard the pirol bird which is very exotic to us. At the same time, it was possible to walk to the nearby town of Gaiole in Chianti where many nice restaurants and cafes can be found.

Incredible Tuscan villa with the best owners and rental group. We had a family of 9 including a baby and the house was exactly what we needed - very spacious, accommodating owners, beautiful views, and a perfect location for visits to wineries and other tourist attraction cities. Irida was very responsive if we had any issues, and Francesca catered to our every need throughout our week stay. Upon arrival, Irida was there to give us a tour of the house and get us all set up with everything we would need for the baby etc. It was a level of service we hadn’t ever experienced with Airbnb! The house itself is beautiful as well, we loved sitting on the patio and greatly enjoyed the pool. Best of Mas set up many experiences for our group - welcome dinner & cooking class, private tours & transfers, wine tastings, lunch/dinner reservations, you name it they took care of it.
