Vacation rentals with a patio in Gioiosa Marea

The apartment is warm with its woodwork, large wooden doors that open onto the beautiful terrace that has a sea view. What a pleasure to eat quietly outside, sitting facing the sea and surrounded by nature, mountains, sea while being 15 minutes from the historic city center. What could be better, in addition, than having the opportunity to eat sun-ripened oranges, picked from our host's garden. This apartment is equipped with a brand new fridge and stove, and the cleanliness of the apartment is impeccable. Our host was waiting for us when we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, answered all our questions, gave us beautiful places to visit and suggestions for good restaurants. Knowing that we wanted to rent a car for the day, she gave us a reference where the price was very affordable and where the staff spoke French. I would recommend this apartment to my friends.

Beautiful apartment by the sea, full of sun with a great balcony. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are large and very comfortable. Parking is in the private yard of the building. The hosts were very kind and gave us a lot of useful information that made our visit much easier. We had a great time in the apartment and felt at home. I hope we will return one day. Sicily is beautiful. Thank you for everything.

We loved our two-night stay here. The views were spectacular, despite the clouds, and it felt like we had our own little apartment in Taormina. It was a short walk from the restaurants, but a good distance away from the main tourist hustle and bustle. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very local. We loved the entrance through the garden into the unit as well.

Andrea's place was excellent for the place as well as the host. The space is cozy, comfortable, clean and with all the comforts. Andrea has been more than punctual, quick, specific in the explanations and advised us some places to go and eat totally wonderful! She even left us to eat some mandarins from her tree! We have found ourselves at home, we highly recommend it.

Very clean and spacious house, perfect for both families and groups of friends, it enjoys an advantageous location facing the sea. Friendly and helpful host.

Communication with Davide was excellent and straightforward. He and his wife are great hosts who give helpful tips for excursions and restaurants. David's mother, Gianfranca, welcomed us warmly and showed us the lovingly furnished, clean apartment, which corresponds to the pictures. With her friendly nature and the delicious typical pastries from the region, she immediately made us feel welcome. She gave us a useful list of recommendations for nearby restaurants and shops. The terrace is beautifully designed and the Blue Flag beach is easy to reach. It is the perfect place to relax, and if you feel like discovering something, there are many beautiful places nearby such as Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Savoca, Letojanni and the Lipari Islands. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and can only recommend this place! We'll be back and grazie mille!

Phil was an absolutely amazing host and was so so helpful as we had a few issues completely out of his control however he was still checking up throughout which really made a difference to our stay, the apartment was very clean and bed is so comfy with a lovely couch and TV to relax in, the hot tub was the star of the show with amazing views, we had an amazing time and can’t wait to return, thanks Phil!

The communication with the host was great, there was always an immediate response. The way to the villa is very narrow, the escort from the host helped us a lot the first time! We would recommend a car as there are at least 3-4 (steep) kilometers to the city or shopping. Once you have arrived, you can expect a lot of peace here. The sound of the sea can be heard except for the terrace, beautiful sunsets over San Stefano di Camasta are only a few steps to enjoy over the (absolutely quiet) road on the stone beach. The villa is located on a railway line. Some trains could be heard here during the day, less often even at night a freight train. The place has absolutely everything that is needed. Cooking, one (or 2-3) espresso from the capsule machine every day, and romantic evenings in candlelight. The host even provided us with water and espresso to start, great service! Thanks for the quiet place for our honeymoon!

Robert is great host, provided all necessary details about place and local shops or restaurants. I can truly recommend this place. Everything was as it was written. And the view was insane. In love with this place and whole city. Communication with Robert was great. Hope that we will be back there :)

Amazing place! The location is pristine, close to the bus stop, convenient to everything, especially the Bam Bar! Grocery store is 4 minute walk, several non touristy spots are all within walking distance. We were a family of 6 adults, and there was plenty to see and do for everyone. Taxi stand is conveniently located just outside. We received amazing recommendations and they were spot on! House was large & spacious enough for 6 and still had 2 more beds to spare. Kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely come back as a large group and stay at Rosaria’s place!

Yosef is a very kind guest and is good communicative. The house was great and has a good location for a few days in the region of Etna/Taormina. Definitely a good deal!

The apartment was perfect and it's right next to a beautiful beach. The terrace was great for breakfast in the sun. Theres a great little mini mart down the road that does amazing sandwiches. Incredible communication from Chiara at all times. Highly recommended

The place is beautifully situated on the hillside overlooking Lipari, Vulcano and even Etna with a clear view. It is super quiet and you have everything you need. A small supermarket and the bus stop close by. Graziano is a great host, always available and super helpful, no matter what. We felt really super comfortable. If you want to explore the island, you should rent a car. I can absolutely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful stay at Santina's lovely home, even if it was just for one night. The house itself was beautiful, located in a peaceful area, which made for a truly relaxing experience. Santina is an incredibly kind and helpful host, going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying in our own home. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat.

Armando welcomed us with friendliness, sympathy but at the same time showing serious professionalism and competence. The place is very well kept, new and well designed. Although it is located in the open countryside on the slopes of Mount Etna, the rooms are welcoming, modern and convey a lived-in warmth probably linked to the history of the palm grove that the owner told us about. The place is surrounded by greenery and offers a view of the Ionian Sea that sweeps from Taormina to the south of Sicily and is priceless. I absolutely recommend a visit to this mysterious and fascinating place.

Francesco made us feel very welcome. Very warm and friendly host. He even showed us some of his favourite eating spots in Stefano when he picked us up from the station! He was very generous. Always responded quickly to questions and helped us out with some extras. The flat had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. A great outdoor area to relax in the afternoons. Very quiet at nice, some very restful sleeps. The town is a great place to visit. Many amazing restaurants and places to eat and drink. The locals were very friendly. A perfect town for a weeks stay with enough to do to keep entertained. Molto grazie Francesco!

The spacious apartment corresponds to the photos, is very clean and has a wonderfully large terrace with really great sea views. The beds are wide and comfortable. The bedroom windows are fortunately well insulated against traffic noise, because below the house on a hill there is a main road and the railway line. Communication with Viviana was excellent the whole time. The place Giardini Naxos is a matter of taste. It is criss-crossed by thoroughfares with a lot of traffic, pedestrians lose out. The beach promenade consists largely of a narrow sidewalk. The beach is no comparison to the sandy beaches in the northwest of Sicily. As a pragmatic neighborhood with good bus connections to Catania (1 hour) and Taormina (15 minutes), we still liked the apartment with its good value for money. A supermarket on the beach is close and can be reached through an underpass with stairs. Not for the disabled.

Large, modern, clean and cozy apartment! A stone's throw from the seafront, but in a quiet location! Nunzio was very helpful and gave us very valuable advice, helping to make this vacation unique! I recommend everyone to stay here!

One of my favorite air BnB experiences ever! It has it all: close to everything, gorgeous views and so much space. The place is modern with so many amenities and breathtaking views. Close to the cable car so you can get down to the beach in minutes and just around the corner walking distance to the main town center. Never needed a car. It’s close to the bus terminal too! The hosts were so responsive and friendly!! 10/10 stars

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place. Great view from the balcony, a private oasis from the craziness of Taormina, yet only being a couple of minutes walk from the centre was amazing. Pool was great, kids didn’t mind it being a little chilly in April. Even got to see Etna erupting whilst staying (from town centre not our balcony). Cannot recommend more highly.

The apartment is based a stone throw from the main area of Taormina and took a couple of minutes to walk to. We were greeted by Anastasia who was super helpful and informative. It would have been difficult to find the apartment for the first time without her help! The shared pool was clean but freezing (it was April so to be expected!) This was a fantastic base to explore Taormina and the wider area from.

Everything is great! Very clean, nice hostess and beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside! The kitchen is well equipped, but the fridge is a bit noisy, which disturbed sleeping. The parking and short distances to restaurants and beach as well as the bus connection to Taormina were also great:)

The place is nice and clean. The host is very welcoming. Highly recommended.
