Vacation rentals with a patio in Gioiosa Marea

there is a big problem in this stay: it lasted too little! We stayed one day inside this lovely apartment, my cousin and I had a great time! I have been around the world for years thanks to my work and I have visited and met billions of owners and I have to say that people like Mr. Pippo and the whole group, are rare people to find. A welcome worthy of a 4-star, super clean and fragrant house, cared for in every detail, a courtesy and kindness unbeatable. We found breakfast, water and excellent seasonal fruits (including their gardens). When we wanted to rent bikes, they were promptly made available to us, with the message before using them. In the evening we unexpectedly received excellent homemade pizza by Mr. Pippo and all his delicious family. We felt like family, really! We recommend it to everyone, treat them with care that are rare to date people like this.

A very convenient place as a base for sightseeing. We had a car that could be parked easily. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment had everything you could need plus a lot of space. Both the living room and the bedroom and kitchen could go out onto the balcony. On one side there was a beautiful view of the majestic Etna, and on the other side there was the sea. And the rooftop terrace. You 👌🏻🤩 could really feel the Italian atmosphere. 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend the place 😉

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The location, amenities, and sleeping arrangements were perfect. The views from the top balcony were incredible and the jacuzzi was a perfect touch. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

I’d give Giulio and his place 6 stars if it was an option. The apartment’s view is stunning and it’s in the perfect location. I can’t recommend it enough. Giulio sent me lots of recommendations and even called the grocery store for me on a holiday to check their hours. Cannot wait to stay again!

I had the most beautiful stay at Rosy’s place! From the start she was super helpful with communicating and helped set up a taxi to pick me up at the port due to weather. She welcomed me at the property and was a lovely host! Gave recommendations for restaurants, beaches… Woke up one morning with jam on the front porch. Rosy was such a good host and was always available if I needed anything, made the stay an amazing experience. As a solo traveler I could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We were very pleased with our stay. Carla is a very nice and always available host who makes you feel well taken care of. The apartment is very nice overall. The beds were comfortable, and both the linens and towels were clean. Our personal highlight was the view... simply fantastic! We also liked the pool area, but unfortunately the loungers were a little uncomfortable. Practical: There are two ways to get to the city. Unfortunately, we only discovered the easier and faster access after a few days...a small tip for future guests to look around a bit at the beginning. Overall, we had a very nice time and can absolutely recommend the accommodation. Thank you, Carla, for the warm hospitality!

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and the location was perfect. Anita was super friendly, accommodating and responsive, which made check-in/ out easy :) (only thing I would mention is the noise in the morning from 6-8 am the garbage trucks are quite loud) other than that I highly recommend those who are looking to visit and stay in Taormina !

We had a sore stay with Francesco & family. We felt very comfortable and were surprised with fresh fruits, jam and more. The whole family is very friendly but also reserved if you want privacy. The apartment is very nice with incredible views from the balcony. The property is freely accessible and very peaceful and full of chickens and cats. The access is a bit adventurous and without a car you would not be mobile. We worked from the property and the wifi worked great, even outside! We highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a quiet beautiful place!

Fabulous little part apartment in a wonderful location. It is a stone through from the beach, where you were able to rent beds or take your own towels. You are just down the road from the beautiful Isola Bella natural reserve and beach. There is a mini market with essentials just a two minute walk away, and the cable car up into the town is just a few minutes walk, taking you straight up into Taormina. The apartment is well equipped and the Terrace is a beautiful spot to have breakfast watching the sunrise, or for your evening meal.

A perfect 2 night stay at Andrea’s place. The jacuzzi was a perfect addition as got quite chilly at night being up in the mountains. A very comfortable home and could have stayed a whole week! A perfect quiet stay in beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much!

The place is beautifully situated on the hillside overlooking Lipari, Vulcano and even Etna with a clear view. It is super quiet and you have everything you need. A small supermarket and the bus stop close by. Graziano is a great host, always available and super helpful, no matter what. We felt really super comfortable. If you want to explore the island, you should rent a car. I can absolutely recommend the place!

What a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, with homemade wine, olive oil, and fresh cherries from the garden. The hospitality was truly exceptional. Thanks to the fantastic recommendations, we discovered restaurants we never would have found on our ohne and each one was a hidden gem. The accommodation itself is full of character and charm. Every piece of furniture and decoration seems to have its own story. And the view was absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t get enough of it. All in all, a perfect holiday with plenty of relaxation. We’d love to come back! Thank you for everything!

Angela and her husband are wonderful hosts: We arrive in Taormina over an hour earlier than planned – no problem! We arrive with a VW bus – this is also not a problem, even in the winding streets of this dreamy city. The apartment has a protected parking space. Angela responds to every question and concern with a snap of her fingers. The apartment is an ideal place to stay in Taormina: pleasantly cool inside when the summer heat is shimmering outside. The amenities are high quality, the information about the apartment and the city is accurate and helpful. We can recommend the accommodation without reservation – and the warm encounters with Angela will remain in our best memory for a long time.

My group of 6 had a wonderful stay! Antonino was a wonderful host, setting us up with early check in as we arrived from the airport, and was responsive to any questions we had about the house. The location is incredible (the photos don't do it justice-waking up to the volcano and/or the ocean waves, balconies off of every bedroom, steps from the sea, really gorgeous!) The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, cooking in, etc, and the neighborhood has great local spots for drinks, dinner, and small grocery shops. Two of the bedrooms have detachable twin sets that you can use together or separate, but I'd recommend reaching out in advance based on your group if you need them separated. We traveled to/from the train in Riposto for day trips which is very walkable along the coastline. If you're looking for a less touristy, more authentic neighborhood to stay in, this is definitely the spot.

We had a great stay! The apartment is beautiful, very clean, and fully equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, there’s a bus stop nearby with connections to many places (including a direct line to Catania Airport). Nonetheless, the apartment is in a quiet and peaceful area. There are supermarkets close by, and we found some really good restaurants in the area as well, all within walking distance. Rosaria, the host, was very kind and helpful. She responded to our messages quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Viviana was an incredible host, she contacted us one day before to explain how to arrive to the apartment, she helped us with the parking and gave us lot of information of what to do and where to eat! she was really helpful. The apartment is located near Taormina and Castel Mola so we travelled by car easily. Also, the apartment has a huge terrace with amazing views, bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms where perfectly clean.

We had a great time staying at Nunzio’s place. He contacted me well in advance of our trip and provided me with lots of recommendations bespoke to my interests. Prior to arrival he provided detailed information about check in and was very proactive with communication throughout our stay. The accommodation was exactly as listed, very clean, and was perfect for our little family. There is a front and rear balcony so you can catch sunrise and sunset. In terms of location it is a short walk to the sea front of Gardini Naxos, the train lines mean you cannot take the shortest walk as the crow flies but there is a tunnel to cross under the tracks. We loved Gardini Naxos itself, plenty to see and do and a great spot for exploring further up the coast. The views from the beach looking around the bay and up at Taormina on one side and Mount Etna on the other are unbelievable. We will definitely come back to Sicily and would happily stay at Nunzio’s again.

This place exceeded our expectations and was one of nice surprises of our trip. The place is modern, clean, spacious and has a fantastic view. The location is extremely convenient for exploring Taormina. It was also very close to a supermarket. The hosts were very helpful. The only thing to consider is that there are a lot of steps so it would not be good for someone with mobility issues. Besides that, I highly recommend. Excellent value

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place. Great view from the balcony, a private oasis from the craziness of Taormina, yet only being a couple of minutes walk from the centre was amazing. Pool was great, kids didn’t mind it being a little chilly in April. Even got to see Etna erupting whilst staying (from town centre not our balcony). Cannot recommend more highly.

Fantastic stay in the heart of Taormina close to all the action whilst set in beautiful gardens and the view was truly amazing especially at sunrise. Thank you for all the help in advance booking transfers and meeting us on arrival to show us around. There was so much to do in Taormina a great adventure.

The apartment is not fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, lots of amenities, plus a nice balcony & view. We thought the location was perfect, just outside the Porta Messina. Carmen was very friendly, always replied quickly and let us check-in early and leave bags after check- out. We were very happy we chose to stay here.

I only have positive things to say about my stay at Sergio's place in Taormina. I thought the location was perfect, just outside the crowds of the main street of Corso Umberto, and less than a 10 minute walk to the cable car down to the beach. The terrace had a beautiful sunrise view and was incredibly peaceful in the mornings. I felt very safe and secure in this apartment as a solo traveler. Clean bathroom and kitchen, not much more I could have asked for. Sergio's co-host, Viviana, was incredibly friendly and helpful before I even arrived, giving me information on how to get up to the town from the train station and was flexible with my check-in time. 100% would book again and recommend to a solo traveler or couple looking for a cozy spot to explore Taormina!
