Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Gioiosa Marea

Taormina is truly the jewel of Sicily—charming streets, stunning sea views, and incredible food around every corner. Staying here made the experience even more special. The apartment was spotless, in a perfect location, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after a long day of exploring. The host was responsive and kind, making check-in easy and offering great local tips. Parking, as is common in these historic towns, was definitely a challenge. In fact, it was nearly impossible to park in the recommended area due to the heavy foot traffic from tourists. Just something to keep in mind for future guests arriving by car. That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d still gladly return. A truly unforgettable stay in one of Italy’s most beautiful towns.

As other have said, Domenico met as at the place and was very kind and helpful with Restaurants, Groceries etc. His place was as shown in the photo's and easily accommodated 2 couples.

Amazing location in the town below Taormina. Wonderful restaurants across the street and beach access as well. The apartment was recently renovated and was lovely for a couple. Washing machine in the bathroom and AC that cooled the entire house. Wonderful place and location. Round trip bus ticket to Taormina was only €3! Don't even attempt to drive up there.

Marco's place was clean, bright, modern, and had lots of space. He equipped the kitchen with breakfast snacks of many kinds, cereal, great coffee - including fresh milk ready when we arrived - and each bedroom even had its own kettle and selection of teas and some treats. Marco made getting there easy and check-in a breeze. He answered questions quickly before and during the stay, and even checked how we were doing, halfway through our 4-night adventure. I would highly recommend Marco's place. Parking is usually available and we were a 5-10 minute drive to the duomo and centre of town.

Mariateresa met us at the apartment and was so wonderful and helpful, great communicator and super responsive. The apartment has a view over the gorgeous isola bella and a quick walk down to the beach which was really convenient. Really comfy beds and everything we needed to stay for 4 days. The stairs to walk up to Taormina are close by, but we preferred to stay down in Mazzarò away from the crowds up in the town. Thanks for a great experience Mariateresa.

Viletta Diana was a great spot for me on a long weekend on Lipari. It was only a ten minute walk to the heart of the town, and had two outdoor spaces, as well as a parking spot which is hard to come by on Lipari! Walter was very kind and met us out front after our ferry got in, to explain the house and give us a warm welcome. The space was private and a nice for us to relax in after dinner and seeing the sites.

This Airbnb was great for my family and I. We were able to walk to the main area where the shops and restaurants were. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with all our needs. I would recommend this spot for anyone staying in Sicily!

My fiancé and I needed a place to stay last minute in Taormina and Francesca was very accommodating and responded very quickly. Her home is in the perfect spot where restaurants and sights are walkable. And there’s an adorable balcony that overlooks the street which we loved! The space overall is beautifully decorated and has a modern charm to it. And everything you would need is there. We would absolutely stay there again the next time we visit. We had a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is gorgeous. Our children were able to play in the garden and swimming pool. If you want to sit a little outside the tourist hustle and bustle, and yet have all the amenities at your fingertips, this is ideal. We'd love to come back.

Alberto is a terrific host! He provided detailed information with pictures which helped us locate parking and the apartment. Plus, he provided booklets on Milazzo’s history and things to see and do while visiting. Very helpful! Alberto met us upon arrival to walk us through the apartment. He made us feel so comfortable and was such a delight to speak with. The apartment was perfect. The location is a 10 minute walk to the castle, 10 minute walk to ferry, 5 minute walk to the grocery store, an excellent bakery and fruit market. The view from the front room window is amazing as you watch the sunrise and harbor boat traffic. We could have stayed longer and been very happy. You will not be disappointed. Alberto and his wife provide a wonderful apartment filled with amenities and special touches that make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Tina’s place. Tina was always very helpful and very quick to respond to requests. The place is really peaceful and beautiful. To sit outside and listen to nightingales singing, scops owls calling at night and many more birds was fantastic. The only other noise was the bells on the cows as they came past the house to go for a drink. The flowers along the tracks are gorgeous. The place has a fantastic ambience. A wonderful relaxing retreat. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful yet conveniently close to everything you might need. What truly stood out, though, was the beautiful garden.

My group of 6 had a wonderful stay! Antonino was a wonderful host, setting us up with early check in as we arrived from the airport, and was responsive to any questions we had about the house. The location is incredible (the photos don't do it justice-waking up to the volcano and/or the ocean waves, balconies off of every bedroom, steps from the sea, really gorgeous!) The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, cooking in, etc, and the neighborhood has great local spots for drinks, dinner, and small grocery shops. Two of the bedrooms have detachable twin sets that you can use together or separate, but I'd recommend reaching out in advance based on your group if you need them separated. We traveled to/from the train in Riposto for day trips which is very walkable along the coastline. If you're looking for a less touristy, more authentic neighborhood to stay in, this is definitely the spot.

Fabulously views. Lovely apartment, basically equipped but suitable for our needs. Safe parking for the motorbikes at the bottom of quite a steep driveway. Supermarket about a miles down the hill. We cooked in the apartment so don't know about local restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Airbnb was great. Sicily was beautiful and the views of Etna were incredible.

great stay in taormina. easy access to all the restaurants and tourist spots. parking garage was a short 5 min walk. staircase in the house is a bit narrow.. but adds to the charm of the house.

Villa Mulino al Vento with its wonderful views of the city of Lipari is the perfect location for your Aeolian holidays. The apartments are super clean and equipped with every comfort of great design. The large terraces and outdoor spaces are perfectly cared for and furnished, able to give moments of absolute relaxation surrounded by nature. The added value? Super host Leonardo who pampered us and spoiled us with home-made delicacies and his company. Always available to meet all our curiosities and requests; in addition, the presence of Perla, an affectionate golden retriever has softened all our awakenings. Thank you also to Marithes for her smile and delicious cuisine. In short, the perfect place for an unforgettable holiday.

Very good stay over Christmas here. The flat matched the photos perfectly and the on-site staff member is extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommended, stunning view and well equipped, modern flat in one of the best locations in Taormina.

The apartment is in a very convenient location, almost adjacent to the lake. Bars, supermarkets and restaurants are close to the property and easily accessible. Mr. Luigi is a very helpful person. Comfortable, clean and well-equipped apartment. We recommend the stay.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a week in Emanuele's apartment. Everything present, sparkling clean and it looks as shown in the pictures. Emanuele is very friendly and helpful. He's looking for contact before the arrival date. He did his best to let us into the apartment a little earlier and helped find parking. In short, great!

We were hosted by Giovanna very well. She waited for us despite our delay. Available and responsive, no complaints. Clean and spacious accommodation. Large and pleasant terrace accessible from the living room. I recommend.
