Vale Chestnut - Cottage with stunning views
We had a fantastic week here, the views and setting were just amazing. The accommodation was clean and cosy, Danielle and Tom were great hosts- so friendly and very very responsive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The kids loved the swimming pool and its long opening hours. Although there were other families staying in the other cottages it always felt very tranquil and peaceful with us often having exclusive use of the pool. It was great having a washing machine to use daily, as well as lots of other bonuses. We will definitely be back!

Woodcutterâs Cottage - Magical riverside location
I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

Lofty converted barn - The Forge, private hot tub
We spent a fabulous couple of days at The Forge. The place is as described - very comfortable and fully equipped for an escape to the countryside. We loved the thoughtful welcome basket of goodies too. Set in extensive grounds and with plenty of local walking, it was a chance to completely unwind and relax. A big thank you to Mel, the property manager, who provided full and clear information and was friendly and responsive to our queries.

Spring Barn Eastwood Park Spacious Family Home
Absolutely stunning place to stay. The garden and pool was the perfect place to spend a sunny weekend. The house is beautiful and the facilities are amazing. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty big enough and the kitchen has everything needed. Having a gym on the property is a fantastic bonus as well! Louise was an exceptional host. She responded to questions so quickly and was always friendly as well as helpful! The instructions provided made checking in super easy as well which is really appreciated.

Comfortable Home In Grosmont
Fantastic few days at Daisy and James' place, thank you so much for sharing your home. Beautiful and stylish decor with everything you need and loads of cool touches. The kids loved the toys, especially the marble run! The trampoline outside was a huge hit too. Grosmont is a lovely village - we joined the local childrens' Easter egg hunt at the church, explored the impressive castle ruin in the rain(!) and had a lovely pub lunch at the Angel Inn. We would highly recommend and happily stay again, thanks again Daisy and James!

Cowbridge Cottage + shared swimming pool
We loved our stay in Cowbridge - our daughters were so thrilled to find the new play equipment and we all enjoyed our swims in the pool. The Quail was well appointed and very comfortable. Our youngest (5) particularly loved the toilet paper flowers and towel swans. Anita made us very welcome, thank you for having us to stay at your beautiful cottage.

Barn with pool + fitness studio
Such a lovely place to stay. We only booked for two nights and wish we had been there for longer. Lots of really interesting features (a suit of armour! A harp!) in a well stocked house. Very comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful views (we especially enjoyed all the bird nesting in the eaves), gorgeous interior, starry Dark Skies and nice hosts - what's not to love? Great parking. Wish we could have had a few more nights, to check out the pub just down the road.

Modern inner city 3 bed eco house
Booked for a 50th birthday celebration and reunion. A great time was had by all! Lois was around to meet and greet and the items provided for breakfast was an unexpected but very welcome surprise! Thanks for a great stay Lois!

Skirrid Studio Stay near the Welsh beacons
Lovely place. Enjoyed the small extras like the lovely cake! Felt very much like a cute retreat and very nicely decorated. Helen was warm and welcoming.

Self catering cottage, sleeps 4, in Portishead.
Arthur Lee was a great host, always friendly, never intrusive. Great location near Bristol, very accessible for the Wesr. The Airbnb is spacious and separate from main house. A great stay

Dry Dock Cottage
The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

Cwm Seren - Luxury Apartment
Jack's place is absolutely lovely we had a great stay visiting Wales for a wedding - 5 adults plenty of space for us all (only little thing is the double bed in the room with the en-suite is on the smaller side - a note for anyone with long legs). The marionettes interior is lovely and bright and decorated beautifully, great kitchen with everything you need, a table for delicious food and lots of room for playing games. Plus 2 comfy sofas to collapse on after a day out walking! Location wise, Crickhowell is so cute, plenty of pubs, coffee shops a brilliant zero waste shop and all amenities just on your door step!

Beautiful waterfront cottage with stunning views.
It was a lovely place to stay. My dawg enjoyed people watching especially the ones walking their dawgs. Everything you needed plus a downstairs loo which I didn't know about.

Brecon Beacons cottage with mountain viewâs
Lovely home. Very comfortable with everything we needed. Great to park car on driveway. Lovely garden and patio. Great location with canal walks and pub over the road. Chippy 2mins away too! We walked nearby- beautiful countryside. House a pleasure to return to after day exploring. Highly recommended.

Cottage - Rural/Animal Retreat
Spent the weekend staying in the cottage. The cottage is lovely, comfortable and charming. Felicity was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The farm is lovely we didnât tire of watching the ponyâs at our window! We came to adventure and the pack that has been put together by the host of areas to visit was very useful. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and I would be more than happy to recommend this retreat to anyone wanting to get out to enjoy some of the majestic sights of the Brecon Beacons. We had a great stay and will hopefully return again for a visit in future.

Acorns
The central location was absolutely ideal for my Husband and I. The biggest bonus was that there is an allocated guaranteed car parking space. Clear concise instructions made the property easy to find. I would recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to this part of Wales for either a short or long visit.

Secluded Mountain Retreat
The location is beautiful and the house has great charm. The views are wonderful and the cottage is warm and cosy with a great wood burning stove. You can only access with a 4 wheel drive vehicle or walk 300 metres from the parking place up a rugged mountain path. This is difficult with luggage and after dark requires a good torch. The living space is lovely. The bedrooms are open planned and you have to walk through one to access the stairs down to the bathroom. The other bedroom is accessed by a steep set of steps from the kitchen. Head room is limited and there are no window curtains. It is what it says a mountain retreat and wonderful for walking and for families. A bit more difficult for older couples. The hosts were very responsive to any queries

â Brecon Beacons Vicarage, stunning garden & views
An amazing property in a beautiful location. There was 14 of us all together for a hen weekend and Nicholas was very accommodating to what we had planned. There is plenty of space for everyone to fit in easily and all the appropriate facilities. The gardens attached to the property are also wonderful too. Everyone who stayed for the weekend had the best time and constantly complimented the house, especially the bride to be.

Home on edge of Brecon Beacons - near Abergavenny
We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable home, local to the Brecon Beacons National Park, and Wendy's communication and help was fantastic.

Hare Cottage Abergavenny Town Centre Beautiful Acc
Hare Cottage is the perfect location for exploring Abergavenny and the surrounding areas. Itâs a short drive to nearby villages and towns worth a visit (Brecon, Crickhowell, Talybont on Usk). Our 3 year old loved finding all the hares around the house. It was perfectly equipped, in a safe and quiet area with parking and an enclosed garden for our dog. We managed a parkrun in Merthyr, a walk up Sugarloaf Mountain, several trips to the local pubs and restaurants which are only a few minutes walk away and dog walks in Castle Meadows. Jack gave us local recommendations which were excellent and we found a few to add to the list: Pizza at the Towpath Inn (Gilwern) Beers and pies at the Brecon Tap (Brecon) OâConnell Bakery (Abergavenny)

3 Bedroom spacious family house
What a treat to stay at Dipuâs place in Blaenavon! It was a good, comfortable space for our family of 6 and there was lots of parking on the street outside. We enjoyed exploring the heritage centre in Blaenavon, hiking up the Sugarloaf via St Maryâs Vale and then sampling the locally sourced coffee and pastries at the newly opened Welsh General Store round the corner.

Forest Views, Trails & Tranquillity
Sarahâs Airbnb was a wonderful âhome from homeâ and lovely sanctuary to come back to after beautiful walks in the stunning Forest of Dean. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the local White Horse Inn, which was an easy walk from the Airbnb. Sarah was a very friendly and responsive host. Thank you for such a special stay, we will definitely be back some time!

Spacious 3 bed house in Beaufort
Stayed here with our family of 6 adults and the house was perfect. Lovely garden and kitchen space - perfect to sit and enjoy the morning with coffee. The rooms were all lovely and clean and spacious. We arrived with two cars and were able to park both vehicles off the main road either in the garages or just in front. The local area is very nice and friendly with two small convenience stores less than 5mins away. If youâre looking for somewhere to be a great hub for exploring the local area and Brecon Beacons this is a great spot!

5* Luxury Woodland Escape - Hot tub Sauna Sleeps 6
Indeed Jamie and Sara's place, is different, full of mod cons, yet cozy and relatable. The sunsets from the vast windows were glorious and the array of games were both challenging and fun. The only minor drawback (though we found a solution) was that the stylish bathroom floors up stairs were too slippery after a (lovely) shower, so we used the down stairs one, in which the floor was more textured (and more older person friendly....) All in all a lovely experience. Thank you!
