The house is beautifully furnished, has everything needed for a relaxing night in after exploring the lakes or has a perfectly located local pub a few minutes walk if fancy a few drinks. Great base for exploring the lakes whilst missing the crowds of some the more popular towns Really cosy house, will definitely be back.

wardhall cottages is a perfect peaceful retreat. Great fire, laid and ready to light on arrival. Huge bath beautiful countryside with easy walks to a woodland with the dogs. Near to Cockermouth for shops and cafes and close to Allonby for beautiful beach walks and sunsets.

Tim and I had a wonderful time staying at Stephanie’s Airbnb. She was very friendly and quick with communication. The house had a beautiful garden with a pond and a friendly chicken. The kitchen and living room was spacious and homely and the bed was super comfortable. We had come in spring so it was incredible waking up every morning to listen to so many birds and to watch the sunsets from the kitchen window at night. Will defo come again :)

Wonderful property on edge of Lakes with great access to multiple beauty spots. Quiet with lovely views. Lots to do in the house. Extremely comfortable. Very well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Immaculately clean throughout. Personal touch to everything which made it feel more homely. Great for kids of all ages. Will stay again !
