We enjoyed our one month stay at Box House very much. João was friendly and helpful, offered local recommendations, and also brought us beautiful oranges and lemons from his garden. The home is beautiful and chic, but more than that, it is well equipped and we had everything we needed to feel comfortable, cook our meals, clean and do laundry.

The place is great, very nice and special. Meets everything it has to offer. As for Manuel, he was a very friendly person and willing to help. He showed us the whole complex and explained everything great. Worth it!

Very good accommodation for visiting northern Portugal. Very quiet, as described. Welcoming and flexible host in relation to our earlier than expected arrival time. What more can I say... I recommend it 100%.
