Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

We had a great weekend at Itxaso's place. We were very well received and received helpful recommendations about Bilbao and the surrounding area. The accommodation is very great and with several separate rooms it is perfect for larger groups. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but here there are good opportunities to cook some lovely meals. Would, however, highly recommend the restaurant Asador Bidegain which is 2min away from the accommodation. The only challenge we had was getting a taxi booking when we were going to the city center. The Spanish skills of the taxi drivers are very limited so calling to book a taxi was difficult. Uber and Bolt did not work In any case, we got very good help from Itxaso who drove us down to town so we could arrange a rental car. Great service!

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Myself and my extended family (including a toddler and a baby) stayed in Lucía's place for 5 nights. We loved it. Very spacious home with a nice private outdoor area. Also a covered outdoor dining area. The house was a very close walk to Mioño and about a 30 minute walk to Castro urdiales. There was plenty of parking outside the house. I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to relax with your family that feels rural but is still close to amenities. We loved our stay

Great Peaceful Location, away from the usual crowded touristy places, but with lots to do and visit in the area, for interesting and fun day trips and beach only 50 minutes away.

The house is incredible! Great for large groups and with plenty of room. Clean and spacious rooms and a huge garden with a covered barbecue. The kitchen is also very well equipped. If you want to be relaxed with friends/family, this is your place. Communication with Jorge was very easy and immediate. Spending a weekend in a castle was amazing! We would definitely do it again! 😊

From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) I would recommend this accommodation because I was very satisfied and because I would repeat if the opportunity arose. Thanks Adela, especially for accepting Baio and Lea ❤️

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful area. Very much enjoyed the tranquility, the cottage and the area. Upon arrival, the fireplace was already on and there was a delicious homemade cake ready and fresh eggs. Communicated well with the host using Google Translate.

This is by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The house itself is incredible and the surrounding property that it sits on is gorgeous. Everything, and more, that you might need is provided, from washing detergent to olive oil. We stayed here for 8 nights with 3 kids, explored the area, and had a marvelous time. Jose waited for us upon our arrival and showed us around. Such a nice gentleman! Communication with him prior to our arrival and all throughout our stay was flawless. He gave us great suggestions and was always available to answer questions. I cannot recommend this house enough, our time here was an absolute dream. Thank you Jose!

Among all the positive things, we'd like to highlight that the rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable.
