We stayed 13 nights at Fatima's. We've never had a place so clean! The accommodation is damp but Fatima makes sure that we are as comfortable as possible (spare sheets, towels in large quantities, etc.). The apartment is very well equipped, we did not lack anything. The views are splendid! Fatima and her family know how to welcome us, they are very kind and very responsive to our requests. The only negative point, but which is minimal compared to the full potential of the accommodation, is the sound insulation. The ceiling is just a floor and we can hear Fatima and her family walking if we stay in the apartment during the day. The noise never woke us up or prevented us from falling asleep. We highly recommend this accommodation and now know where to stay if we have the opportunity to return to visit the beautiful island of Madeira.

The place was beautiful in a very quiet location with stunning views. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. The beach Calheta is 5 minutes by car easy to reach and highly recommended. We also loved the private parking. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are doing and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

One month stay in this attic style apartment on top floor of a 4-storey building. It is well-equipped, very well supplied and well furnished. The two excellent terraces have good furniture, lovely views and are private. The apartment is a 2-minute walk to the pedestrian promenade that leads to the Lido area and Formosa Beach and 8 minutes to the main road, bus stops and a good supermarket. Beatrice (the host) responded quickly before and during the stay and Paulo (her local agent) was welcoming - and there were also some nice welcome gifts. The internet worked well in the main living space and one of the terraces. The apartment building was generally quiet; you can hear construction noise from the nearby Dubai Madeira development - but not disturbing. The AC was not effective. Beatrice responded positively to my concerns, provided a portable fan (which helped) and has advised that new AC units will be fitted. Overall, a very good apartment and I have booked to return.

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

A fantastic stay with Emanuel for 3 weeks , my longest stay at an Air BnB and was perfect for what i was looking for. The place is exactly as described and as in the pictures. Emanuel and his mum were great with communicating and making sure all questions were answered. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance, most day trips would pick up from outside the apartment. Would 100% stay here again when I come back and cannot recommend them enough

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

Everything you needed was there. The place is stylish and clean. The host was always available and quick to respond.

This was by far the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Antonio was so helpful from the very beginning (he sent lots of info ahead of our arrival), made sure we could check in in the morning after our early flight and welcomed us personally at his lovely house with pool and all amenities one could look for (specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms, where we found all types of equipment, shampoo, tissues etc). The beds were comfortable, the view was stunning. We were a group of 6 and enjoyed cooking together (particularly barbecuing outdoors), but the house offered many peaceful corners for each of us to relax in, too. We also really appreciated Antonio‘s recommendations for hikes and other things to do on the island. Thanks a lot for everything!!

A great house in a beautiful location! You can't get any closer to the sea and the sound of the sea accompanies you day and night. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean. You make yourself at home straight away! Constantino is very helpful and has great tips. Without him, we would never have found the little beach in Seixal... We were here 14 days and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Constantino!

This atypical accommodation on several floors is very beautiful and perfectly well appointed. We took advantage of the 3 outdoor spaces. Appreciated welcome with a nice touch on arrival (flowers, wine, beer, water, chocolate). We were also well advised for our outings and restaurants. Note: Not easy for me to park properly in the parking space but it is possible to park in a parking lot down the street. We are delighted with our stay at Adriana's

The place was perfect and lived up to our expectations. Quiet neighborhood and good location. Luis was very welcoming and gave good local recommendations. We highly recommend it!

We had a great time at Horacio's place. The accommodation is nice, spacious, very clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. Superb view of the sea, peaceful neighborhood. A small grocery store and restaurant a few meters from the accommodation. Perfect location to easily get around the island. Horacio is very welcoming and he cares that his guests have the best possible stay. Thank you Horacio for the great stay, we will definitely be coming back.

We were wonderfully welcomed by Lucia who is a very nice person. The apartment is very large, modern and above all very pretty with a superb sea view ✨ We chose Bolt to get around and it was perfect:) Thank you for this trip!

Maria’s 8th-floor apartment was perfect! Super clean, spacious, and the balcony had amazing views of the marina, Santa Catarina park, and the city. It has two bedrooms — one with a double bed, the other with two singles — both with private bathrooms and closets. There are three bathrooms total, all spotless. The kitchen had everything, plus a dishwasher and coffee machine. Laura, who welcomed us, was so kind and helpful. She messaged me before arrival, arranged parking, explained everything in the apartment, and even brought us a big bottle of water and fresh coffee capsules the next day. She also gave great local tips. The building has great security and private parking. Honestly, the whole stay was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira — close to everything!

This apartment has a very good vibe! Would definitely recommend or choose again! You can watch and listen to the waves which makes it even more amazing. It is simple, pure and clean, towels were big and had a great scent. Pillows were good quality and very comfortable. There is a restaurant (and by the way very good restaurant) in the neighborhood, it’s not disturbing, there’s no music or shouting but there is some business in the evening until guests leave around 9pm.

Iri’s place was absolutely breathtaking taking!! The view from the balcony was outstanding! You can see the beach. Her place has a washer drier which was super convenient. iri was super friendly and helpful! She is great !!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.

We had a great time at Miguel and Ana’s place. They have a beautiful condo close to the sea and with a lovely balcony and view. Very spacious and a nice location. Overall, loved it!

We booked a room with a view and boy did we get a room with a view. With that view and the cleanliness of the room you hardly have to go outside to have a great vacation. But if you don’t want to do that you can also walk to the city center and the boulevard. If you rented a car you get plenty of private and free parking (even with a cat!). The host was a big help and made everything very easy. We are really happy with our stay and can recommend it to everyone!
