Vacation rentals with a pool in Gaula

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

This is once of the most beautiful villas we have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice. The open plan space is lovely and the views are stunning. Emanuel was an excellent host, and responded immediately with any queries we had. I will definitely be coming back to this villa with other members of my family.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

Stunning location and views, very clean place, the drive up to the airbnb is a little tedious but not too bad. Extremely responsive and communicative hosts. We were sad to leave but would definitely rebook!

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

Excellent host, very friendly

This was by far the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. Antonio was so helpful from the very beginning (he sent lots of info ahead of our arrival), made sure we could check in in the morning after our early flight and welcomed us personally at his lovely house with pool and all amenities one could look for (specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms, where we found all types of equipment, shampoo, tissues etc). The beds were comfortable, the view was stunning. We were a group of 6 and enjoyed cooking together (particularly barbecuing outdoors), but the house offered many peaceful corners for each of us to relax in, too. We also really appreciated Antonio‘s recommendations for hikes and other things to do on the island. Thanks a lot for everything!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

Annikka is a very friendly host. Always answered quickly to our questions. The apartment corresponded to its description. Stunning view of the ocean from the balcony. Nearby are beach resorts, a promenade along the sea, a large shopping center. Convenient access to the city center.

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We spent a week at the property and it couldn't have been any better. The location is, as described, just outside the city of Funchal, but that's what we wanted. Here you have your peace and can start the day on the balcony. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you needed. Check-in & out was easy and straightforward. The location was great for excursions around the island every day. We usually drove to the city with Bolt (€8-10 for one way). We never used buses. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and the view is really a dream. Only the bed could have been a little more comfortable, this was quite hard. Otherwise a great place to stay!

This was the best air BnB I've stayed in, the apartment and view from the balcony were beautiful, and the location was perfect with it being only a ten minute drive from city center. Would definitely recommend!

Iri’s place was absolutely breathtaking taking!! The view from the balcony was outstanding! You can see the beach. Her place has a washer drier which was super convenient. iri was super friendly and helpful! She is great !!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.
