Nice spot. felt isolated even though farm nearby and another renter. walks from the door and a good spot for places in south lakes. Emma was a great host, responsive, put a Christmas tree up for us which was a lovely touch. all cutlery and kitchen utensils were available. sharp knives always pleasing! Bathrooms, towels etc all present and clean. definitely recommend

We had a fantastic stay in a lovely cottage, small but extremely well equipped. both Barry and Eadaoin were extremely helpful. No complaints whatsoever and will stay here again if it's available !

Me and my friends visited The Lake district and it was a very great experience for all of us! The accommodation was perfect! We have our own peaceful place after our adventures. Necessities provided in the caravan, clean area and beautiful view. Maggie was easy to get hold of, we arrived past our check in time and bless her she still accommodated us. Great experience! Would definitely hire the place again when we come back.GOD bless the host!

We had such a wonderful stay in ‘The Nook at Newalls’. It was private and peaceful and had everything we needed. We had some stormy weather during one of the evenings, but we were cosy and warm in the hut with the log burner lit! Taxi into Kendal cost £9 where we had a gorgeous Sunday dinner at ‘Ye Olde Fleece Inn’. Windermere was a 20 minute drive where we did a great short walk up to Orrest Head for the most incredible views. The hut is a great base for exploring the Lake District - highly recommend!
