Monthly Rentals in Garnett Bridge

An absolutely fantastic stay! Really lovely little cottage for two of us and our dog. The property had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. Our dog felt really at home as well, finding it very easy to settle. Our favourite part was being so close to the neighbouring farm and seeing the lambs and Shetland pony right outside the kitchen window. I really couldn’t recommend it more and would love to stay again, just bring thick socks or slippers as the floor can get cold in the kitchen.

First, the town of Kendal and the surrounding country side are the reason why the English language has the words quaint, picturesque, and sublime. A picture perfect setting that surely inspired the aesthetics for the Teletubbies and iconic Windows XP background. On to the tiny mansion: Clean, craftsman like quality, and thoughtfully designed. You’ve never fully understood “less is more” until you’ve cooked dinner, played scrabble, and watched the sunset over the rolling green hills of rural England until you’ve spent a night at this AirBnB. Meet the Dalai Lama, be blessed by the Pope, but you can never attain the same tranquility as is possible when imbibing in the sheep and tranquility filled respite that is this AirBnB. Stayed in the shepherds hut. Hosts are very responsive if you have any questions. Very comfortable with all the amenities that you need. Fabulous views in the most peaceful surroundings with plenty of country walks close by. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place to recharge. This is it! We have visited the site twice now. We will definitely be back ❤️

Absolutely lovely little chalet in the Lake District. Well positioned for trips to Windermere, Ambleside and lots more. Our host Emma sent really useful instructions prior to our stay which made checking In and out a breeze. The surrounding scenery is beautiful with newborn lambs in the fields all around us! We had a brilliant stay and look forward to returning in the future. The only very small thing I can pick out is that on the listing it says salt, pepper and oil are provided, there wasn’t any in the chalet, I don’t mind if these aren’t provided as I would usually bring my own but didn’t as they were listed. Nothing to cry over but one to amend for future guests 👍
