This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Fantastic newly built architect-designed cottage with a unique location. There are views of the sea, Barsø, fields and forests. Peacefully situated without close neighbors. Large windows that provide light and bring the unique view inside. Beautiful and sustainable choice of materials. Cozy recycled finds that make the house personal. Beautiful terrace with lovely surroundings. Wild nature, which is beautiful no matter the season you visit the house!

You will stay on a residual farm, 6 kilometers from Dagebüll, the gateway to the islands of Föhr/Amrum. The Wadden Sea is 500 m away. Around you is a Highland breed, tomcat/cat, Estragon our show horse, Ella our mare, sheep, lambs, peace or Action! All 4 seasons have their charm. In autumn/winter, when the wind blows around your ears, there is tea punch here, in spring lambs, in summer the harvest! It's not far to Denmark. Römö can be reached in 50 minutes.

Country Happiness

Experience pure deceleration in our idyllic thatched roof house. Situated on an old wharf with an open view, it offers the perfect starting point for excursions to Sylt, Föhr or neighboring Denmark. Enjoy the time at the small pond with jetty, which perfectly invites you to unwind. Whether alone or with the family, here you will find space for valuable moments of relaxation. Let yourself be enveloped by the cozy atmosphere of the house.

There is space for the family with and without children. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There is a climbing tower and a soccer goal available. The garden is over 1000 square meters. There is space to grill, play or unwind. The garden is completely enclosed. Of course, there is also a baby crib in the house. The beach is 15 minutes by car. You will find everything you need for your relaxing holiday. We invite you to excursions to the unique world of the North Sea Islands and the Halligen, to unforgettable walks in or on the Wadden Sea or to long bike rides through the vastness of North Frisia.

Greenland on Föhr

Hello! We offer our cozy half of a thatched house. The cottage has 37 sqm downstairs, 28 sqm upstairs, a total of about 65 sqm. Upstairs, of course, is slanted. It is located in Boldixum on Föhr. This is a district of Wyk. Since it is still privately used by us, it does not have one thing: the efficient, smooth charm of a vacation home. Where the wild roses grow, that's where we live.

Lean back and relax in this stylish home, which is located on a quiet residential street and which contains both a bathtub and a bio fireplace. There is a large adjoining garden with a large wooden terrace and a short distance to both Ribe and Rømø. Small, newly built, thatched house on the Bahnenswarft in Fahretoft is looking forward to guests with and without dogs. Cozy 60 m² hold a lot of comfort for you. Whether fenced garden (1.20 m high), barrel sauna, bathtub or bathing barrel - there is one or the other possibility to surf completely relaxed through the holiday.
