From the north-west terrace you look across the fields to Denmark. There are two car parking spaces available.

All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.
