This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

My family and I loved staying here! The pool was perfect and we used it every single day and the space was ideal for us - my 4 year old especially loved the games (first timer playing Sorry) and PAC Man along with the nature / fire pit (and pool of course). It was very close to downtown Saugatuck and the host was super responsive. Our dog was also very relaxed in this location as it was quiet and peaceful and he is getting older. Thanks for the great stay and we can’t wait to come back’

Jennifer’s home was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared in every way. It was the perfect place for our family getaway. The kids had an incredible time and are still talking about all the fun they had. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We had an amazing stay at the Green Oasis. The house was lovely and would be perfect for two families staying together as there are two separate ‘wings’ off the main entrance. The one side was more than enough room for the three of us. Rooms were very comfortable and we felt right at home. The backyard pool is the star of the show as we spent a lot of time in the private space out back. Having it heated and covered is an added plus. Chris was excellent communicating with us throughout the stay. We definitely are looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful home.

The location of this house is in a private quiet setting but close to so many things. The kids loved looking out the front window and seeing the horses right across the street. The house was very clean and exactly how it was described, nicely decorated without over doing it. We utilized every part of the large property for volleyball, football, cooking out and eating at the picnic table, bonfires for making smores and picking wild flowers. The pool and hot tub was very clean and nice. The bedrooms are large and perfectly accommodated our family of 10 with 2 littles in pack n plays. There were plenty of items provided to make our stay easy, dishes, cookware, pool towels, board games, and pool items. Brandon was a great host and extremely responsive before and during our stay. When we had a question about the air conditioner on our first night, he responded within 10 minutes and then sent someone out to handle it. I would highly recommend Brandon and this house for a family get away.

Great home for adults and kids pool and hot tub where amazing

We just left mikes place and are already planning when we can go back! We did a girls weekend in south haven and the backyard and pool area were immaculate. It was sunny and 90+ degrees all weekend so we did not leave the pool! It was wonderful, clean, and peaceful. Definitely coming back as soon as we can for another girls weekend!

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. The house is cozy and the views of the lake are beautiful. We enjoyed every moment at the house, especially the upstairs deck and the back porch.

What is spectacular view!! One of the best in the southwest Michigan area ! Enjoyed the kayaks that were provided for a peaceful tour of the lake. The fire pit was excellent to enjoy a gorgeous sunset along the lake ! Don’t pass up your opportunity to stay here !!

This place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway! I read the other reviews so knew exactly what i was getting. Outdoor "yard" (ie waterfront) was perfect. Everything is new or newly remodeled inside and out, and the upper and lower patios were amazing. The only thing not redone were the dock fishing rod holders, which were fantastic and sturdy for my husband to fish while read on the lovely patio watching the boats go by :-). Will be back!!

Wow! What a gorgeous place! Perfect for 6 people (2 couples and 2 kids) we had plenty of room and loved the proximity to the lake. Even though it was scorching hot we still found lots of time to sit outside and admire the water. The sunsets were amazing by kayak! The AC also worked incredibly well. We will definitely be back to Ayla’s Oasis!

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

A stunning house architecturally; the view of the river through the trees from the floor-to-ceiling windows was fabulous. Even the indoor mirrors were carefully positioned to provide views of the outdoors. It rained for two days while we were there but we were content to stay inside and watch the river go by, while the chipmunks, squirrels, and birds busied themselves right outside the windows. Finally, the under-floor heating worked well.

House worked well for the wedding we attended! Easy to locate and very easy check in and check out process. Clean and has everything needed for the weekend.

What a beautiful place! My wife, teenage daughter, and I had a great stay on Barton Lake. Everything looked exactly like the photos and the description on AirBnB, plus Alanna left us some coffee and s'more fixings! There were two full bathrooms, and three bedrooms - with the one downstairs having four bunk beds. My daughter chose to stay on the main level in the other bedroom with the double bed. The place was modern/updated with lots of conveniences, like new appliances in the kitchen, central air-conditioning, gas fireplace, and giant windows overlooking the lake. Outside, there were deck chairs, firepit, kayaks & paddleboard, charcoal grill, yard games, and the lake has a soft sandy bottom so no need for swim shoes. We had an excellent stay at Alanna's place and I'm looking forward to our next visit!

Exactly what I wanted for a weekend getaway! The space is so calm and beautiful, also has the BEST spot on the lake- itmakes you never want to leave. I’d probably come back and stay here again! Justin was an amazing host, great at what he does!

We loved staying here! Our hosts Kristy & Tony were polite & responsive. This was our best experience with an airbnb anywhere! We felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It felt like home, and it was outfitted with everything we needed! As soon as we arrived we felt as if we could have moved in and stayed forever, it was so cozy! The property itself is beautiful. We saw several deer, several raccoons, squirrels, and many birds. The creek was clean and peaceful. The hot tub was indeed hot and everything worked well. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and even extra toothbrushes which was wonderful as my wife forgot hers at home! The bedrooms were cute & had easy to access storage which was nice. However the best part of staying here was enjoying the kitchen. Not only is it well equipped with everything you would need to make any meals, it has a fantastic view! 10/10 loved staying here!!! We will be coming back again!!

We stay in many, many airbnbs and we both love this one. It is very private and very peaceful. We were there 4 nights and we were sad to leave. The KS bed was super comfy.The view is awesome. Can’t wait to come back!

My family absolutely loved our stay! Carrie thought of everything! I truly felt at home during my stay. My absolute favorite part of my stay was the screened in porch. I sat there each morning with my coffee enjoying the peace and quiet. My kids loved all the games and entertainment. I literally did not see them the first night. We were able to walk down to the beach and enjoy Lake Michigan. Carrie is a wonderful host and truly cares about her guests and their experiences. I recommend this property to everyone.

I did NOT want to leave the minute I stepped foot on this property, OUTSIDE and IN!!!! The floor to ceiling windows from one end of the house to the other was SPECTACULAR! I turned on the TV for less than 10 minutes my entire stay and it started watching me! To cook with that view, yeah most amazing meal ever! ALLLLL day Saturday was a day on her dock and on the lake! Access to paddleboard, kayaks, paddle boat! THE SUNRISE and SUNSET 😍😍😍 better to see it woth your own eyes...wide open sky for sun bathing and star gazing! This is my new home away from home! I love love love, did I say LOVE this space, every sq. foot of it!
