Vacation rentals with a pool in Funchal

We stayed at the house for almost a week and it felt like home. The view was so beautiful, house so spacious and clean and aesthetic, the kitchen also has everything you need to cook, outside area is also great for having BBQ and relax by the pool. Tatiana was always responsive to messages and gave us recommendations where to go for shopping and eating. We would come back again definitely. The location is also great because you are close to Funchal, or can explore any other spot on the island within 30 mins to 1 hour with car. Big thanks to our hosts!

Mandy andThelmo are great hosts. The house was extremely well equipped, they thought about everything!! We felt right at home and everything was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay. The views were amazing and the neighborhood so pristine. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful . We highly recommend this house ! The hosts have even prepared a well thought out guide that encompasses everything in the surrounding area. When you arrive they have a book that have all the local restaurant markets, the hikes and the levada recommendations . We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We stayed at Casa dos Francelhos, we were seven adults. The facilities were excellent. Antonio greeted us with kindness, guided us through everything we needed from the villa, but also gave great tips about Madeira's sights, shops, dining, and getting around. The week went smoothly in a villa with three bathrooms inside and a fourth outside. Fruit spreads, welcome wines, and beautiful flowers were waiting for us. Everything worked brilliantly. The outside patio and pool area was very cozy and beautiful. During the week, we also grilled on the outdoor grill. The location of the villa is great, the area is peaceful and the view of the sea is beautiful, we walked daily to the center. Backwards we often took a taxi, the youth walked back and got some useful exercise. Taxis were well received from the city center, next to the exit of the Pingo store, there were always several waiting for them. The bolt worked well too. We can highly recommend Casa dos Francelho!

Cozy home with all the necessary equipment for comfortable living. The house is in a quiet location, yet farther from the town, so a car is essential. I really liked the grilling area and the terrace with a fireplace for cozy evenings.

The house was great and the outdoor area with the swimming pool and the barbeque was amazing. Most of our meals were there and we loved it! You definitely need a car to reach the house and to move around, but if you are ok with it, I totally recommend this place. Many great walks/levadas, the sandy beach of Calheta and the beautiful Paul do Mar are within easy reach with a car too.

Beautiful house! Amazing host, Paula makes sure everything is great. She even dropped by in the evening to bring new sheets when our baby threw up on our bed. Too sweet. Also the communication with her was the best ever. Big pool, great garden to have morning coffee in the sun, lovely village on walking distance. Good to know that the water pressure of the showers are a bit low, we were able to get a good shower anyway. Paula is super flexible, we were allowed to stay in the house until our flight left that day because there was not a guest coming that day or the next. All in all we would recommend Paula’s place 1000%.

The place was absolutely beautiful and clean! The location is excellent with a great sea view, and only a short walk into the centre of Funchal along some stunning coastline. We had no issues finding parking on the street outside the house. It was also a great base to go explore different parts of the island from. The pool area gets plenty of sun so it’s perfect for relaxing next to, or getting in to cool off! Overall we had an amazing time staying here and will definitely be back next time we’re in Madeira!

Very nice apartment with all amenities including a covered garage. A superb sea view from every room in the apartment: breakfast in the morning overlooking the sea of happiness... We were well looked after at the beginning and end of our stay. The building is located in a quiet area and, at the same time, it is very quick to access the expressways: to visit the whole island it was great. Recommended apartment.

We had a wonderful time in Madere. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped. It has a very nice view from the terrace where it is possible to see the sunset.

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and felt at home. About a 25 minute walk to Funchal center. Easy to get around. We rented a car and having a parking spot in the building was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment, clean, very spacious and wonderful views. The terrace is an amazing bonus, great for relaxing, sunbathing and eating. It has plenty of seating options and even a BBQ. The inside was also very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage. We spent 2 weeks there and found it the perfect base from which to explore Madeira.

Very nice place, made me feel like at home. Comfortable beds and pillows and nice balkon . Very good communication with host. Location is very good, close to ocean and many restaurats. I will come back!
