Vacation rentals with breakfast in Funchal

We immediately felt very comfortable in the "villa". The terrace was a dream and the room had air conditioning – after a hike really pleasant! In addition, we always had hot water. The value of the place is absolutely top. A note: The listing requires a car.

Everything was great. Clean and climatic. A beautiful garden with a hammock. A great option is breakfast included. Close to downtown. Parking available on the street at the house. We loved it. Thank you for your pleasant stay.

My stay with Marlize and Cori was absolutely wonderful. Marlize even picked me up from Praia Formosa at 8 PM at check-in day, which I’m truly grateful for — such a kind gesture! The place was spotless, and breakfast was provided, which was a lovely touch. There’s a fantastic view from the balcony, and two beautiful trees that Marlize planted herself years ago — they’ve grown tall and strong, and add so much charm to the space. The location is great, especially for those traveling by car. I didn’t have a car, but I still walked a lot and really enjoyed it — everything felt accessible and peaceful. Everything was simply delightful. Thanks a lot again!

This place is great for a stopover in the city of Santana in Madeira. Clean, accessible and well located in relation to several points of interest on the island. Lili is a very friendly and responsive host. She has a lot of useful recommendations for your stay. I would this property.

Highly recommended!! We had an amazing stay there. Hosts are very kind, polite and always happy to help and recommend places to see or restaurants. The place itself is clean and tidy, with the a nice terrace with sunset view :)

We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed staying in Antonio and Jeorge's place.We felt more at home even than our own home.Everything was absolutely perfect.We wanted to stay for the entire duration of our vacation,but unfortunately the rooms were booked for the last 2 days.We left crying and so upset to go elsewhere.The house,amenities,the stunning view,home grown fruit and veggies are something that we never pick from the garden,but purchase in the shop and not to mention-the most tasty eggs ever we had for breakfast.We also met lovely like-minded people staying in the other room.I want to single out the outstanding hospitality of our hosts and want to thank them for making our vacation so memorable.We will definitely return,many times! Noted some silly comment from someone,that the house is in a steep road.If you cannot drive on steep roads,perhaps either learn how to or choose another country,as not many flat roads here in Madeira!

Amazing breakfast in the morning! We only stayed one night we arrived late and left for our hike and camping early the next day, so didn’t really get the chance to enjoy the room, but it is very well located, right next to the natural pools.

André is a great host. As soon as I arrived, we had a welcome touch 🤗 Communication at all times is fluid and he told us how we should do the chek in. We loved the experience. 😍

Amazing views! So nice to wake up to the Sunrise right outside our patio. It was also nice that the restaurant was walkable and the hot tub was an added bonus. The rooms were pretty basic but made up for it with the incredible views! The service at the restaurant is top notch and the skewers are so tasty!

Beautiful accommodation overlooking the ocean. Comfortable beds, we slept beautifully there. The host was welcoming, responded immediately to emergencies. Thank you for your stay and we can definitely recommend it.

Jardim do mar is a beautiful quiet place with small alleys. The car is parked at the parking lot. There are about 5 minutes' walk to Cecilias Guesthouse - in jardim do Mar there are no streets😃. Breakfast is included, super delicious and more than sufficient - grain rolls, dark toast, cheese, cookers, cakes, jam, pot of coffee/tea and Cecilia's homemade juice. There is only a very small grocery store on site, so better to shop in advance or get cooked from Cecilia. Room is as shown on the pictures. Kitchen is included, equipped with necessary cooking utensils. Sea view. The terrace is a dream and is shared with other guests, mostly surfers. There is a circular walkway via Prazeres to Paul do Mar. Jardim do Mar is an idyllic village with small alleys and many colorful plants overgrown. If you're looking for peace and quiet and want to fall asleep to sea noise, this is the place for you! Obrigado for everything Cecilia!!

Peaceful location with unreal views. Ideal to spend some days in a quiet area with a car

We were in Funchal for 10 days and found the perfect location in Funchal with the accommodation. We were able to reach everything on foot and were still very quiet. Breakfast is delicious and the staff at Se Boutique Hotel are very friendly. We would come back any time and can highly recommend the accommodation.

The place is immaculate, sustainable, and a great base for exploring the island. #### The House Located between the mountains and the sea, this beautifully restored house is just twenty minutes from Funchal. It’s peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The main house has a suite, five bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room, plus a cozy “palheiro” studio. The rustic decor and shared spaces make it feel like home, offering a slow living experience. #### The Grounds The garden leads to a patio with comfy seating and great views. The pool is a highlight, surrounded by idyllic, tranquil nature. The staff are welcoming and make you feel like family. Fresh veggies growing around add a special touch. It's remote without feeling isolated. Solar dos Reis is a top-notch, peaceful place with breathtaking views and wonderful people. We can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful location in Saõ Jorge. The views of the sea, from the balcony, were spectacular and the room itself was freshly decorated and very comfortable. The whole accommodation has plenty to do, including a swimming pool and pool table. The breakfast is also good with more than enough choice to keep you going for the morning! Nearby, there are some fantastic walks and places to visit, including a water saw mill, ruins, traditional buildings and incredible miradoros of both the sea and the mountains. I highly recommend Teresa’s place for a peaceful stay and in such a great location. Teresa too is delightful!

Our hosts were really friendly and talkative. They gave us advices about what should we visit and always asked about our day. You can find their rules on their accomodation’s page which you have to follow but for us it was no problem.

We stayed with Nelson and Paul for 3 days and would have loved to have stayed longer! The property is beautifully located in the green mountains of Madeira overlooking the sea. It is very lovingly decorated by the two and above all the large garden with its various seating and dining places offers many opportunities to enjoy. We especially liked the delicious breakfast with fresh scrambled eggs and local jams. We definitely recommend the place and will be happy to come back! Thanks again.

Clean room with private bathroom. We stayed one night and it was okay.

I booked this place as my trip to Madeira was very last minute and there weren't many options in my budget. However, I was very pleased with the room and Margarida was very pleasant and accommodating. The location is a little further out of the heart of Funchal, but is an easy 30-minute walk downhill. The walk back on the other hand was quite the challenge due to how steep some of the hills are on the island but nothing a cheap Bolt or taxi can't mitigate. Highly recommended, I would definitely consider staying there again when I return to the island.
