A guest left this comment: If you want to stay in a old Japanese house in a Mt.Fuji village & make your trip to Japan a success, you should choose this house. This is the Kominka style BNB in Yamanakako. “Hirano no Hama” A 8 min walk to the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji overlooking the lake. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.

閑静な別荘地にある築30年のフィンランドログハウス。別荘地内にあります。良く言えばプライベート感のある立地。 BBQ、屋外では焚火。 BBQグリルは有料で貸出しております敷地内リフォームしつつ営んでおります。工事中の箇所もありますが施設は快適に過ごせるようになっております。尚、冬期は暖房費がかかります。湖畔までは徒歩10分貸自転車あります。 Our guest homes are a finland style loghouse built 30 years ago. We are located in a quiet and relaxing area with lots of wildlife including wild birds, deer and squirrels, bear, badger. We are always open as we update our guest homes. 中央自動車道都留ICから5分。都留市駅からタクシーで10分。周囲を閑静な里山に囲まれた場所に佇む築150年の古民家です。建築時期は江戸時代後期。到着されたらぜひ、館内の天井を見上げてみてください。手斧を使い、丸太から人の手で削り出した梁に気付かれると思います。ここは、かつて「羽休庄 (はやすみのしょう)」と呼ばれた地域。都留市は富士山の伏流水が豊富な水の都。庭に、夏狩地区から峠を越えて引水する滝があります。焚き火スペースの地面には、江戸時代に建設された谷村大堰の分水を司った、溶岩を加工した遺跡が埋め込まれています。滝を眺めながら、焚き火とBBQ、晴天時は星空をお楽しみ頂けます。清流の音、焚き火の炎、木がはぜる音が織りなす1/fゆらぎの空間にて、ゆっくりと羽を休めてください。この施設は、郡内（東部・富士五湖地域）に居住する有志が集まり、活動を行う「NPO持続可能な郡内地域づくり研究会」が運営主体です。管理は小菅村・道志村で森林資源活用を行う、株式会社リトル・トリーが実施しています。
