Staying at Christine's lovely cottage made our vacation even more magical. Convenient location for those who love tranquility and at the same time want to reach all the best known villages in ten minutes. Christine, a wonderful host, is attentive and available for any need. 10/10 experience, highly recommended.

We were already wonderfully looked after in advance and questions were answered so quickly, we have never experienced that before. Thank you! When we arrived at the vacation home, a gift from Irene was waiting for us AND the dog was also greeted with a gift and bowl. We felt very comfortable, there was everything you need and more. The houses are quite close to each other, YET you have your privacy. We would love to come again. Many thanks for the quick help. On the street, construction work was taking place, but as soon as you were in the accommodation, you didn't even notice it in the garden.

A perfect weekend in Alsace with a group of friends for the Christmas markets. The location is ideal for people wanting to visit the markets, about 45 mins from strasbourg and Colmar. The house is extremely cosy and warm, the decorations and attention to detail is impeccable. Also, the spa is well thought out and high spec. Christelle, her son and husband were very welcoming and helpful. We’d like to visit Alsace again in the summer and for sure we would come back for the loges de Marie-Anne. Thank you, Luci

We felt very comfortable. Cathy was very friendly and helpful. We especially liked that it is very child-friendly, with lots of toys and details. There is also a separate area for children in the outdoor area. It is only 5 minutes to the lake and about 20 minutes to the beach on foot. We will be happy to come back.

Wendelin received me very kindly and showed me the apartment right away It's all clean and super organized. Wendelin has compartments/space for the "yellow" room in the fridge, kitchen cabinet and bathroom. It made me feel welcome right away. The room is wonderfully bright and large and quiet. It was particularly nice for me that Wendelin lent me a bicycle.

It was a very nice Hotel in the middle of Black Forest! I suggest it for everyone who wants to experience the pure nature of Black Forest! In 3 sides you have lots of attractions (a waterfall, a very nice lake and a zoo) after a long day of hike you can come back there and take a warm shower and drink a beer. The Breakfast is really good, and the hosts are super friendly.

Very nice location! Right in nature :) The kitchen is a little small. But the Redtaurant next door is a good alternative.

I was completely satisfied with my stay at Manuel's! Everything went absolutely smoothly, starting with check-in. The location is perfect – right in the city center, yet quiet and pleasant. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Manuel and his brother are super warm, helpful and took great care of everything. I felt very welcome and can fully recommend the place!

The hotel is ~10 minute walk from the closest bus stop and is easy to find. The location is perfect and inviting to wander around. It takes about 1 hour to get there by bus from Freiburg (although mind the bus schedule: the last bus leaves at something like 5 PM!), and just under 2 hours to get from there to Basel. You need about 50 minutes to get to the Feldberg 250 m away from its summit, and there's a waterfall within walking distance from the hotel. The view from the balcony is great, and the rooms are spacious, clean and warm. The renovation work is not disturbing. Our hosts were super nice, I wish them success at renovating the place. Looking forward to visiting it again when this is finished. It's definitely worth the money! However, bring your food, as the restaurant is still being renovated, and there are not many places to eat at, especially at evening.
