In 2004 we built 5 cozy lodges. Each lodge can accomodate 4 persons. There is toilet/shower in each lodge. All our houses are located less then a mile from the queens summer residence at Fredensborg Castle You can go shopping in Fredensborg. Distance: 1,5 Km. The cabin is situated right on the banks of our "put & take" lake and newly established and very popular trout stream (the only one in Denmark). The environment around Fredensborg is scenic, tranquil and well-suited for families with children. We are in the process of planning a childrens playground. There are two large grill placed directly on the bank of the lake. Or you can use the grill on the terrace at the house. We have a shop selling fishing gear, fast food, beer/beverages, etc. The shop is open every day from 7 AM till sundown. The city of Fredensborg is approximately 1 km from Fredensborg Holiday homes. Shopping in Fredensborg includes 3 supermarkets, 3 banks, bakers, restaurants, postoffice, etc. We have a good contact with a number of tourist informations which means that we can suggest various sights and excursions. Distances: Copenhagen 35 minutes, Helsingør 10 minutes, Hillerød 10 minutes and Helsingborg in Sweden 35 minutes.

Allerød - space for privacy

Newly renovated wing on a 4-wing country estate. (Discontinued agriculture) There is a private entrance where you can stay without being disturbed by the landlord. It is located 6 km from Hillerød city center and 2 km from Allerød station, with a bus stop 100 meters from the home. And nice parking on the property. View over fields or the garden. There is a charming atmosphere on the farm. Pure "Morten Korch" style. Located on a road with a 50 km speed limit. Moderate traffic in the morning and evening. Due to good insulation, you do not notice the traffic.

Centrally located in North Zealand with good public transportation. Fredensborg is cozy with shops and cafes. Fredensborg Castle, where the Queen lives, is open to the public in July. Esrum Lake is within walking distance with swimming opportunities. Gribskov can be enjoyed on foot or by bike. Train to Helsingør with Kronborg and ferry to Sweden. Train to Hillerød with Frederiksborg Castle and good shopping opportunities. 30 minutes by car to Copenhagen city center - 1 hour by public transport. Louisiana Art Museum - 10 min.

Enjoy the culture of the surrounding area and then return to our quiet surroundings, where you might hear the sparrow or the night owl, see a frog jump across the road – or catch a glimpse of a deer gently moving through the garden at dusk. 🌾🌲🦉 We offer a newly renovated annex with its own entrance, living room, kitchen as well as toilet and bathroom. Here you can relax in peaceful surroundings and enjoy the cozy atmosphere – perhaps with a cup of coffee on the terrace overlooking the garden and the open fields.

Beautiful 7-person home close to nature, city, water and Copenhagen

Large, bright 3-room apartment on the first floor of two lengths at Den Gamle Købmandsgård in scenic Karlebo. Close to Hørsholm/Hillerød, 100m to bus, 6min to highway and 25min by car to Copenhagen. All three rooms have a double bed and desk (+ single bed in the large room). There is a living room, kitchen-dining room with large dining table, new bathroom with shower and washing machine as well as kitchen with dishwasher. Write if you need only one or two rooms. Bright and peaceful annex with private entrance, bathroom, and toilet – perfect for one or two guests seeking calm close to the sea and nature. No kitchen, but coffee and tea are available. A small bathing jetty is just a few houses away, and several beaches are within walking distance. Only 100 meters to the charming Sletten Harbour with an ice cream shop and Restaurant Sletten. Louisiana Museum is a 15-minute walk away. Cafés, grocery stores – just 35 minutes by train to Copenhagen.

Atmospheric annex in the middle of Fredensborg

Stay in our cozy annex in the middle of the castle town, close to the castle, the shopping street, the lake and several beautiful eateries. The annex is about 30 sqm and you will sleep in a loft with a double bed (180 cm wide). There is a shower, kitchenette (1 hot plate), sofa, dining table and your private east-facing terrace with stunning views of Fredensborg. The annex was built by August Bournonville (ballet master), who from 1854-1879 used the main house as a summer residence.

Annex in Vallerød

Welcome to our cozy annex in a quiet neighborhood in Vallerød. Close to the beach, Rungsted Harbor, an ice skating rink, swimming pool, and Hørsholm Sports Park, it’s ideal for relaxation and activities. The annex includes a spacious kitchen/living area with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with either a double bed or two single beds, plus space for a travel cot. The bathroom has a shower, and a washing machine is available. Perfect for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Free parking space in front of the house. Wi-Fi is available in the house. No smoking inside the house!!
