The house was in great shape. It was cute, clean, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. My kids loved the bunk beds, and I loved the tv channel options. The kitchen had all needed utensils and cooking supplies. The house is well taken care of, and the owner does a great job keeping it up. I definitely recommend to anyone visiting Winchester.

This is a charming lakeside home in a quiet neighborhood. Minutes away from the historic downtown. Our hosts were so communicative and responsive. We were in excellent hands and appreciated our stay.

Such a peaceful and relaxing stay. We were instantly relaxed the moment we stepped onto the back porch—hello peaceful pasture, pretty pond, and happy cows! Bonus points for the cute live houseplants inside—it gave the place such good vibes. The host was awesome and even let us sneak in a little early (thank you!). We’re in the area a lot for work, and now we know exactly where we’ll be staying every time.

My family and I were beyond impressed with this rental. We had dinner at Filo's Tavern as soon as we arrived. The environment was lively and the service was very hospitable. I highly recommend the Mongolian Ribeye Steak if you like a sauce that is on the sweeter side and we also had the special for the day which was Swordfish Kabobs on a bed of rice. The Swordfish was plated beautifully and tasted fantastic. The interior design was extremely charming and well-designed. I could not stop gushing over the wallpaper, floors, ceilings, light fixtures, door knobs, shower/bathroom sink fixtures, photos, bathroom mirrors, stairway with lighting, exposed brick and little house plants that were scattered throughout the space. Everyday I was able to prop my laptop up on the deep window seals that face the square and work while watching everyone move about town. We loved watching the march madness games every night on the gigantic t.v. while having foosball, board game and arcade game tournaments.
