Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

A great location for access to the wonders of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula. Located 7 minutes away from the Ferry, which makes for an easy commute to downtown Seattle. We are also close to Hwy 16, which takes you across Hood Canal to the Olympic Peninsula, for great day-trips to this spectacular part of the state. We are located across the from Banner Forest Heritage Park, a 636-acre wildlife preserve which included miles of biking and walking trails.

We flew in on Saturday as we were taking an Alaskan cruise that was leaving on Monday. Instead of staying 2 nights in a stuffy and cramped hotel, we chose to rent an air B&B. Very good choice as the place was very roomy, had a beautiful view of Vashon Island and the Colvos passage. Plenty of things to see and do. Enjoyed the stay and would stay there again. Highly recommend it.

We rent d Alexander’s for two night so some girls and I could get away for some relaxation to recharge. It was perfect! Just as pictured, cozy, beautiful and just what we were looking for. It was very well decorated and had everything we needed. Alex sent everything over we need proactively and was quick to answer questions too. I’d definitely come back!

The spot was perfect, quiet and comfortable. I stayed at the end of May, so the weather was lovely and the trees, grass, flowers and birds were all poppin off. The island of Vashon itself is beautiful and quaint, the perfect little getaway from mainland. Kathryn had personalized suggestions that I checked out, and even those places I’d give 5 Stars to as well. Would absolutely stay again. Note about the ferry: if you’re not used to island and ferry life, I’d suggest buffering your time well. Things happen and don’t always allow for things to go right on time. I was grateful to not be in a hurry to be anywhere, so the flexibility worked out well for me.

We loved having our coffee on the porch in the morning while enjoying the view! The place was spotless and comfortable and we felt right at home! We cannot praise Linda enough for making this hidden gem of a glamping experience so special ! My husband and I stayed here for his birthday getaway and we absolutely loved our cozy, stargazing staycation surrounded in the peace and beauty of nature. I took the most luxurious outdoor bath and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening tea outside the tent. Close drive to town’s restaurants and shops, with the creature comforts you need on site - this place is unbeatable! Thank you Linda for the custom touches you made - from happy birthday chocolates, to rose petals and vases of flowers and extra blankets to keep us warm! We also signed up for a farm visit and got to meet Lilac, James and the other horses! We will be back! Thank you!!
