The place is located in a beautiful area with such easy access to go kayaking. We saw lots of seals and birds. Perfect place for quality family time. Griffin was so helpful and responsive with any questions we had! Gave great local recs. Best hosts you could ask for!

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

We had a wonderful experience in Karen and Larry’s Guest House. It invited us to relax and unwind while we were there. When we arrived there were 3 deer quietly strolling past and the garden invites lots of birds. We love spending time in nature and the Guest House is surrounded by such beauty. We also needed flexibility with our check in due to travel delays and Karen was not only flexible but also responded within minutes to my updates which gave me peace of mind. We were also celebrating a special birthday and Karen made it extra special with a little treat sitting on the table when we arrived. From start to finish we had a wonderful experience and stay with Karen hosting us.

Wow! We planned a lil family trip with our 8 year old and 18 month old. Thomas and Susan were kind and set up a pack n play for our toddler before we arrived! The property is gorgeous and has lots to do. The tipi itself is beautiful and roomy with power, tv and lil fridge with all the amenities listed. The bed is SO comfy and had plenty of blankies for the chilly night. The bath hut was amazing and the fresh water from their well is some of the best water I’ve ever tasted! Upon our arrival, Thomas and Susan gave us a lil run down of the property and activities like ax/spear throwing, the zip line and even a play area for the kids. We didn’t use the hot tub or sauna but they looked lovely! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay for ten days. We brought our dog! Saw lots of different wildlife. We had some problems with power but figured out just not to run too many appliances at the same time. Johnny was quick to respond to problems. Over all it is a great stay- especially someone single or a couple. The stairs could be an issue to kids or the elderly. The view is gorgeous.
