Cottage vacation rentals in Fourth Lake

We ate most meals on the deck admiring the lake and scenery. Most hot days at the lake, jumping off the floating dock, swimming and kayaking the beautiful lake. Most cool nights in the hot tub. Beautiful lake and close to many places (Saratoga, Lake George). Kids really enjoyed the lake, floating dock and hot tub as well as playing darts on the deck. Tinney’s Tavern nearby had great food and was an easy walk. Nice hiking trail nearby. Joan was easily accessible for any questions that arose.

We had a great stay. Lots of hikes. Star gazing from the hot tub was fabulous!

What a beautiful home and location. It was extremely clean and well kept. The surrounds were fitting to make the weekend so relaxing and tranquil. We will absolutely be coming back again, probably in the fall!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Amanda’s place. We just needed a quick get away to relax and it was perfect! The place is in a great location very quiet, beautiful trails to walk on plenty of restaurants to order from and lots of other things to do very close by and the place was immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. Amanda was a great host and responded immediately to any questions and it was also perfect for our dog who loved the fenced in backyard and really enjoyed the walks on the trails. The hot tub and fire pit were a bonus and we spent a lot of time enjoying them. Overall, a great spot to spend time and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away be comfortable and enjoy all that Saratoga has to offer. Brendon’s place was just perfect for a gals weekend getaway! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, played the many fun games in the house, relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed a night out on the town in nearby Saratoga Springs. 10/10 would stay again!

This was a very pleasant stay! Judith went above and beyond and her attention to detail is phenomenal! This honestly is the best place I’ve stayed at! I would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family! Also a special thank you for baking me a birthday cake plus all of the other baked goods!

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Lisa’s house. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything was great. Very helpful when we asked questions and was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to work. Would definitely rent this house again

Great place in Sylvan Beach! Close to Main St. & the beach. Very comfortable and quiet!

MJ and Packy’s listing was exactly as described. Right on the Hudson River with beautiful views. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were comfy (beds could be upgraded but were adequate). Super clean bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of linens/towels. It’s 15-20 minutes from Glen Falls and Lake George and 25 mins to Saratoga Springs, if you want more options for food/nightlife/things to do. We were snowed in for a day and it felt just like home - games/tv/comfy couch. Would recommend.

It is our second time there. It is perfect location to do our door winter activity. She has a new mattress that is very good. Would stay there again

Hands down one of the best airbnb stays and hosts! Wanted to spend my husband’s birthday at the Buddy shack and happened to mention that to Brandon before the stay. When we checked in, baked chocolate cake, ice cream, a gift bag, a birthday card and a beautiful handwritten note were waiting for us. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe this gesture! And there are thoughtful touches around the house that made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent. Felt like I was chatting with a friend. Tried two restaurants that they recommended and both could give the NYC restaurants a run for their money! The property is beautiful. Enjoyed excellent weather and quiet time by the lake. Overall, I highly recommend the Buddy Shack. You will return with wonderful memories and a full heart!

The setting is beautiful, great views from the house and deck. Lovely rustic cabin. Very clean and Jodi is extremely responsive.

It was super clean and new ! Cozy warm cabin. Perfect set up for small families. Friends could rent out other cabins in the vicinity if needed for a large group gathering and everyone would have their own private space. Really loved this place

A perfect place to feel at home for a family. We loved the great open backyard with a river view. Janice and Terry set up this place so thoughtfully that our kids found many ways to enjoy the stay both in- and outdoor, despite some rainy days (loads of games and toys to play with). We also liked the privacy and the nature that comes with its rustic location, and yet it's only 10 minutes off I-90. We spent our long weekend here to visit Cooperstown and other upstate tourist attractions, coinciding with gorgeous fall colours. Our son wants to "live there", and we are sure to return in the future.

We had a lovely stay! The house was great and the grounds were just gorgeous - there was a nice, little path through the forest just behind the fire pit, and we recommend taking a stroll through the woods (and using the fire pit!). We hope to be back again soon!

Dan’s cottage is beautiful and very well appointed! There are so many extras that make you feel welcome. We found everything we needed and then some. The cottage is on a beautiful peace of property close to Main Street and many outdoor activities. Dan also welcomed our dog, which made us feel right at home. My husband and I highly recommend Dan’s cottage. We hope to return next year.

We had a great experience staying at Amber’s property. It was the perfect place to have a family game night with family. It was super cozy and the surrounding area is perfect for a remote and peaceful getaway. The cabin is adorable and very clean. We really loved the Mini Golf!!! From the very start, Amanda was an excellent host! She was fantastic with communication, very friendly and extremely helpful with answering any questions. We had a great time and will be back again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this air b&b! It was in a perfect location and secluded. Kevin and Monique were extremely responsive and their recommendations on things to do was so helpful. My family and I would definitely go again!
