Very kind and responsive host; provided helpful and clear instructions and welcome. The home is beautiful, peacefully situated and clean and comfy. Our family and friends were all comfortable and enjoyed the warm, well appointed home for a long weekend. Sandra was available and responsive. We’ve stayed in homes all over the world. Sandra and her Ukiah home are among the best.

Anu’s house in the Sea Ranch was perfect for our group. So easy to walk to the bluff trail, well equipped kitchen and gorgeous views of the stars from the hot tub and decks at night. We also really enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom and sitting in the sun on the front deck.

Deldi is an excellent host. Great communication and always easy to contact. The home is in a great location. Two minutes to the bluff trail and you can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine looking at the sun setting over the ocean while deer graze in the front yard. Magical!

Had the most magical time with our family here and will never forget it! The ocean view is unbelievable and we saw the most beautiful sunset on our first night when the sky was clear. Also LOVED getting into the hot tub every day. Hope we can come back soon!

I had the pleasure of staying at Karen’s beautiful home for two weeks, and it was absolutely wonderful! The photos really don’t do this place justice—it’s even more gorgeous in person and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Before booking, I was a bit concerned about the stairs, especially with my blind special needs dog. There are quite a few stairs, and they are somewhat steep, but this is very common in mountain homes, so it was to be expected. For us, there were no physical limitations, so navigating the stairs was no problem at all—and the views from the top were definitely worth the climb! I had a fantastic time, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who’s comfortable with stairs and looking for a stunning, well-equipped home in a beautiful location.

Aptly named, Sea Sanctuary offered great repose to our family which included grandparents from Florida! Upon entering this unique build, one is immediately transported… to receive the gift of a true vacation! We enjoyed the Japanese/Balinese influenced design and decor. We marveled at the well planned living space including majestic panoramic ocean views. We fully enjoyed and utilized the AMAZING kitchen, inspired by the “everything you could need or imagine” gadgets, dishes, and machines! We made soups and a birthday cake for our 11 year old. We had a bbq on the back deck for lunch. The clean hot tub was a treat as the weather was quite chilly! The easy trek to the bike path and beach was a highlight for our ocean loving family! Words can not fully capture the genuine feelings of peace, comfort, as well as adventure that Ted Seymour has provided by offering to share his beautiful retreat! We are lucky, indeed, to feel so nourished by this vacation experience! Thanks Ted & Anna

This is hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, Renee was proactive with her communications, flexible, and responsive. After booking, I had a concern that the space might not get warm enough with only a wood-burning stove (boy was I wrong!). When I expressed this concern, She was willing to work with me. When I got there, it was absolutely stunning, private, nestled in the redwoods in one of the most beautiful places in northern California! It was not too far a drive to the coastline or into town to Mendocino. The space feels somehow both cozy and totally spacious. It feels much less like a cabin and more like a fully stocked, fully furnished apartment with comfortable and beautiful furniture. And yet it’s still nestled in the comfort of the woods and has a rustic feel about it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and am sending the listing to all of my friends.

We were lucky to find the perfect time for staying at this beautiful spot. It was a great location, with parking off the street, access to nearby headland trails- while still being walkable to the rest of town. Our host, Mary was the very picture of hospitality- reaching out to us to coordinate our arrival after a delay driving through the Bay Area; then again intermittently checking in with us to make sure there were no problems. Prior to our stay, she was also very helpful and listed recommendations on places to eat. We had a wonderful stay and intend to return to enjoy the lovely views and relaxing environment we find ourselves wishing we could live in full time.

This is a beautiful house with character and style. We traveled here with a group of 10 friends, each of us had our own bedroom and it was the perfect place for a reunion. The decor is artistic and stunning. I recommended highly!

Zendo was a dream. Cabin/glamping at its best. Large house and I woke up in the midst of the forest with lushes greenery. Also that bed was so comfortable!!!!! WiFi worked well, the host had the sweetest gift basket for us when we arrived. It truly was a house of Zen. We drank coffee, made smores by the fireplace (they include the wood and all), read, relaxed and admired all the windows 🪟 and the greenery. Amazing this was real life and not a green screen. The hospitality, the host helped us with parking and we arrived late in the rain. Thank you ZENDO for an incredible weekend!

A huge thanks to Karla for our stay at her lovely home. The pristine location was easy to find with a phenomenal view of the ocean. I appreciated her proactiveness in making sure we knew to stock the kitchen for cooking and the easy instructions for entry given that cell service is not great in the area. We loved Karla's curated collection of art, music and good reads, something that I think should be better highlighted within the listing. For us, our "staycation" turned into a magical weekend full of love, laughs and good company and I'd like to thank Karla for helping us to orchestrate this. She was very responsive when we asked for local recommendations prior to our arrival and reached out intermittently to ensure we were enjoying our time. As a group, we decided this was a trip that could easily turn into an annual occurrence and I look forward to maybe maintaining a relationship with our lovely host!

Lovely house surrounded by redwoods. Feels like you’re really escaping the city and going to a fairy tale forest. A lot of unique aspects I highly appreciate such as the wood stove, the double-high ceiling in the main room and the loft. Also they were generous and went out of the way to make us feel at home like the breakfast items, plenty of firewood, comfortable checkin/checkout times etc.

What a dream. We loved staying at the farm in the barn. Michele and dom are wonderful hosts and artists. The entire property is gorgeous and charming beyond belief. We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.. with our closest friends !

We love River's Bend. It is such a peaceful, relaxing place. Saw a bald Eagle flying down the river!

Starling’s rest is a very spacious for our group of 10. The place is very well stocked with all amenities and kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. The highlight of the space was its location. It is located in a very private location with no neighbors in sight. We couldnt use the pool as it was closed in winter but we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Alison's place was very comfortable and she was very responsive throughout the day. The loft upstairs is like from a fairly tale. The living room downstairs has a large window that lets in lots of sunlight making it warm and bright, lovely place to curl up and read a book. The bathrooms are large, only the downstairs bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is very well stocked. There are several hikes within 5 mile driving distance from the house.

Beautiful home, secluded and surrounded by lush greenery. Easy to access Point arena or Elk for restaurants / food. Stunning views!

Amazing surrounding outdoor environment, homey and clean indoor, very friendly and welcoming hosts! 10/10 would recommend for anyone that would love to spend the day near the ocean and come back to a tucked away, quiet and private home!

Nancy's place was like a little haven off the beaten path. Super peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful surroundings. It was awesome to be able to be able to just sit in nature. It was far enough from town that you barely ever heard anyone else around. But close enough to drive to the many beautiful things to see in and around Mendocino. Nancy was a very welcoming and great host! She gave me tons of information in regards to things to check out on my way down the coast. Absolutely would recommend this place! I definitely hope to return again sometime.

This is our 5th time staying here and love it every time! We discovered new trails and sights. It is a peaceful and magical experience without the interference of technology. We will be back again next year!
