Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, the property has recently been refurbished and is light, bright and welcoming.Accessed by two steps,internally the house is all on one level, with a deck leading out from the living room to the front, which faces west giving views of wonderful skies and sunsets. Guests are welcome to use any of the herbs growing in the enclosed rear garden. Although bordered by a road at the rear, any slight noise from the light traffic is muffled by a fence and trees.

The “Wee Bothy” offers a great base to explore the North East Coast, our scenic Angus Glens, and nearby Towns and Cities with places of interest all around. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. The north wing of a beautiful ‘A Listed’ Lairds House located within an exceptionally charming small Scottish country estate . Ardovie is a beautifully private and peaceful location which allows the perfect escape from it all yet is also well located for access to the coast and glens. The estate is quite the hidden gem and has a wonderful selection of woodland walks . The boating pond and walled garden are definitely worth seeing to enjoy the true tranquillity of the property.

Had a WONDERFUL stay during my in-person week at Dundee University. Very close to the Uni with great access to lots of restaurants and shops, being just a short walk away. The place was quiet, very clean and was just as described - a really cosy comfortable space with everything you need! I will be back next year :)

Really enjoyed our stay. It was very private and off by itself, which I always like. It had everything we needed - two comfortable bedrooms, a full kitchen and a spacious living room. We had Netflix available and our own double parking area. It was also close enough to where we wanted to be and check-in was a breeze. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or to recommend it.

The exterior of the cottage is characterized by red sandstone walls and pink window frames. A dark wooden door is centrally located, flanked by several windows of varying sizes. The surrounding area includes greenery and reflects a blend of historic architecture and natural beauty.

A gem of a cottage - as advertised! Full of character & well equipped - excellent book selection & children’s toys, also baby equipment. Well situated for exploring the town & beautiful surrounding countryside. Only problem is that the picturesque wee lane doesn’t allow parking & unloading a car with baby equipment etc is challenging.

Lovely stay at Andrius it matched the description, was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The place was peaceful and very handy for Forfar, Aberdeen and Dundee. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

We had a lovely stay. The nature surrounding the property was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was cozy and well equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thats looking for a relaxing nature getaway.

Great place we will definitely use again

WOW. Absolute perfection from check in to check out. Linda, the lovely lady who greeted us was so friendly and personable and even walked with me over to our hut, which was a lovely touch! The hut is IMMACULATE and exactly as pictured on AirBnB - cosy, intimate and the bed so so comfortable, plus the shower pressure is great! The huts are all private with fences around you and youre own set of patio furniture - plus the views are spectacular! We popped over to the Sinclair Kitchen, the onsite restaurant and we were blown away by the service and the food! Never tried Frickles before (fried pickles) and they were delicious. We wanted to stay Friday/Saturday but saw that the latest check in was 8pm, i mentioned this to Linda as we were leaving and she gave me a card saying they are flexible and would be more than happy to accommodate late check ins if it's feasible. Overall, this was an incredible 1 night stay and we will 100% be back - thank you.
