Monthly Rentals in Forest Hills, Durham

Good place overall. I appreciated the quietness and being a good base from which to go into Durham and Raleigh (I did have a rental car). Joshua showed good communication overall. I appreciate my time there.

Absolutely amazing — best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! This place is simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home — the hosts have put so much care and attention into every single detail to make sure of that. They're incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it really shows in the space they've created. The beds are dry (not a given in many places!) and extremely comfortable. We were delighted to find thoughtful touches like candles and matches, which added a lovely, cozy vibe. The shower has fantastic water pressure, and there's even a gentle automatic night light in the bathroom — such a small thing, but it made a big difference. The table and sofa are actually meant to be used — not just for show. I worked for over three hours straight at the table and felt completely comfortable the whole time. The home is absolutely beautiful, but the surrounding area is sketchy. Heard a lot of gunfire and emergency response vehicles during my 30 day stay, more than average and I have lived in Detroit and Los Angeles area. The home is very close to downtown Durham and walking distance to North Carolina Central University. The home is very inviting and comfortable w/ a theater room and a smart TV in most rooms, including master bathroom. Downstairs bedroom is not a smart TV and would not work as it needed an antenna, firestick, Roku stick, or other external HDMI device to view channels. The front porch is inviting along with the back deck and firepit in the backyard. Home well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. All appliances are newer. Home has ample towels and face clothes within the 3 full bathrooms. Beds are extremely comfortable, but linen is limited. Office is bright and comfortable w/ stationary workout machine. Home also has a Peloton in living room next to fireplace.

Our stay at Aldo's Sunny cave was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect for our plans. We felt right at home and would definitely book this property again on our next visit to the area or recommend to pur friends. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
