Firstly Patrick was great to deal, he was very responsive and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Patrick met me at the apartment and took me through all the required features and provided great local recommendations. The apartment is spacious and is in the best part of La Rochelle, you walk out the front door and you are right in the restaurant area and only a few minutes walk to the markets and town, you couldn’t get a better location. Despite being right where the action is the apartment is completely noise free and you are guaranteed a great nights sleep. There is a good oven, kitchen things, washing machine and dryer, basically everything you need for a stay. I highly recommend Patrick’s place, it ticks all the boxes.

Stayed here for rugby game and appartment is very central to everything. Great views from roof top terrace and communication re location, checking in, keys, etc was excellent.

We couldn't have asked for better for our stay in La Rochelle with friends. Located in the center, everything is in walking distance. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Guillaume was very accommodating and friendly. We recommend 200%.

Flawless accommodation, very well-equipped kitchen, pleasant and spacious living area. The bathroom is a little small but it does the job very well. We stayed there in winter, so the location and outdoor vehicle traffic in relation to the noise was not particularly disturbing (double glazing). Very nice hosts, good advice. Parking, market, bakery, pharmacy, convenience store nearby (walking distance). Functional connection and wifi. No complaints, perfect stay for us!

Very nice stay for a family. Close to Puy du Fou, that's what made us choose this place. Then when we arrive we see the superb view, the great accommodation, the little touches left by the hosts... very good!

Perfect for the beach vacation The house is located directly behind the dunes and is close to the town center, where you can buy everything. You don't need a car to get maximum relaxation. We'll be more than happy to return next time!

We had the chance to rent this house at the last minute. Martin is very responsive and accessible. The place is quiet and there are many bike paths nearby that allow you to go into town or to the sea. The house is pleasant, clean and very well-equipped. It's a real Airbnb, like a home that friends would have lent you. There are all the basics in the kitchen cabinets, both from an equipment point of view, and from the point of view of basic foods (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, flour,...). There is a lot of what you need too like bath towels, kitchen towels, soaps... There is a Nespresso coffee maker and a percolator. We felt comfortable with 6 people but it seems narrow for eight. A quick note for the bedroom with twin beds upstairs: the mattresses are thin, so rather for children. The other 3 bedrooms are very large and the bedding is good. Pretty little house 50 meters from downtown Les Portes en Ré: convenient to go to the market, rent bikes, go to the bakery. We are delighted with our stay, as the weather was also on our side to enjoy the small inner courtyard.
