Gilly was such a kind host! Her house is beautiful (I would also argue even better than the pictures!) and I felt right at home. She also kindly offered to drive me up the hill, to start my hike to the White Cliffs of Dover from there, which I glady accepted! 10/10 would recommend staying with Gilly!!

Sue has a lovely English home and garden. She was very welcoming and made us an amazing English breakfast. She took care of every need with grace and charm!

A very spacious , uber clean and well maintained and cared for property. Diane is a very welcoming host . The kitchen was stocked with bread, milk and eggs. We (3 adults) had a wonderful stay and would love to stay here again.

Carol and Clive were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble. The cottage is querky and full of character with a lovely back garden next to the river and with beautiful views of the countryside. Check in was flexible and easy to arrange. It is a lovely village and Carol's place is central and walkable to local pubs. I had a lovely time and would return to explore the area more.

Our second fabulous stay in this extraordinary B&B in the countryside. Very tastefully decorated in a rustic eclectic style. L&R are the most welcoming and warmhearted hosts. An exceptional experience.

A wonderful cottage in a great location surrounded by good pubs and eating places. Easy to find with good parking facilities. The cottage is fabulous much better than we could ever have imagined, peaceful and relaxing with fantastic views. The owner has considered all your needs to ensure a perfect stay. The breakfast food was terrific much more than expected. We were disappointed that we only booked 5 nights, next time we will certainly stay longer.

We had such a gorgeous stay at Carlos and Samuels home. Our kids thought the place was "SOOO COOL"!! Wonderful plants amongst the original details of the old home but with modern amenities to make it a very comfortable experience. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom a DREAM! Very quick walk to Margate town, great food spots, the beach. Communication from both was spot on giving us great recommendations and all the info that we needed regarding the house.

Laurence and Pascal are efficient, caring and welcoming hosts. The room and adjoining shower room were very clean and the breakfast was of high quality. Their house is in a very good location, not far from the beaches and the center of Ambleteuse. Everything was perfect. Recommended!

We had the most amazing stay. The cottage was immaculate with so many thoughtful additional touches. The surroundings were peaceful with views to die for and Jo’s gardens were very pretty! The wildlife was amazing and we saw badgers and foxes up close! We only stayed for two nights while we were visiting Port Lymphe and the location was ideal… We highly recommend Jo and her cottage, we wish we could have stayed longer and we would love to return! Thank you so much!

I had a lovely stay with Mary&Paul. They both made me feel very welcome, they are both very kind&lovely people. My room was lovely clean and cosy, I slept 😴 very well. The breakfast in the morning was delicious 😋 the homemade muesli was really nice and my dippy eggs and toast was made perfectly by Paul, all washed down with a pot of tea. I am already planning my next stay. A big Thank you for everything. 😊

We had a wonderful weekend at Catherine and Marc's! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth and immediately felt at home. The room was as advertised in the photos, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simply exceptional: hearty, tasty and entirely homemade… a real treat! The house is in a good location, easy to access and close to the main cities to visit on the Opal Coast. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a pleasant stay in the area. What can I say other than wow. This beautiful Airbnb is incredibly peaceful, in a gorgeous location and perfectly presented. Sarah is one of the best hosts I have had, not only was she incredibly friendly, helpful but she went out of her way to make me feel right at home and offered a delicious breakfast in the mornings too. I wish I could rate this Airbnb higher than 5 stars because its worth double that. I will definitely be back in the future.

Such a lovely peaceful spot in the countryside. we only stayed a night as we had a nearby wedding, but would happily stay longer. Breakfast was a lovely touch also. Highly recommended

We spent a wonderful NYE at Georgina's characterful house. For our two families, with five children (mostly teenagers) and a dog between us, it was ideal. Despite the house being a big, traditional building it was cosy and warm, and we loved walking across the fields to have a pub lunch in Rye on New Year's Day. We'd come back to stay at this house again, as there was a lot more to Rye and the surrounding areas than we could cover in a three-night stay.
