perfect stay comfortable bed lovely seating area. great outdoor space, amazing shower and lovely little kitchen with great extras . much appreciated great location , hosts were friendly and helpful information book provided with all you need to know would definitely recommend and would definitely be back .

What an amazing place in the most idyllic setting! Melanie was a fantastic host with lots of suggestions of places to visit in the local area. My daughters just wanted to spend the day with Basil and the other ponies so, at Melanie’s suggestion, we ordered an afternoon tea box from the neighbouring village which was delicious and we spent the afternoon playing croquet and badminton in the field. The accommodation was clean and cosy and it was nice to be ‘off grid’ with no Wi-Fi or tv. We took some board games to keep us entertained and enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit outside. We really didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to book a return visit.

Denise’s place is a beautiful relaxing rural get away. Surrounded by stunning views and walks perfect little retreat. Denise, her husband and 2 gorgeous dogs were fantastic hosts, very responsive and gave super recommendations. Food in the area is a little pricey but we could have easily spent all weekend just in the rural lodge itself. We will be rebooking very soon.

I stayed here for 8 days, and it was absolutely perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, making sure everything was just right. The space itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, and comfortable—truly a home away from home. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. If you’re looking for a relaxing and charming place to stay, I highly recommend this one!
