Vacation rentals with lake access in Flat Rock

My husband and I have visited Black Mountain several times and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed. We have two dogs we travel with so having enough space and a yard are important to us. Sheryl’s place was just perfect and checked all our boxes. We loved the dog friendly separate living room and how large the fenced i. backyard is. Both the front and back patio areas were perfect and so peaceful. Lake Tomahawk is less than five minutes walking, downtown is a quick four minute drive with plenty of free parking, we visited several nearby trails and also drove up to Asheville with ease. We’ve already booked a trip back for the fall and can’t wait to visit again!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Linda is an amazing host and one of the most proactive communicators I’ve ever rented from. Her place is lovely clean and easy to get to would definitely rent from Linda and the space again.

We enjoyed the peaceful and private area. The house had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect weekend away in nature and the outdoors.

We had a wonderful time at Harmony House. It has a great floorplan for families and the hot tub was a big hit. They really keep the hot tub nice and clean and it was great for a group chill out after a big day of activities. It is super private and well thought out for all the things you would need while in a Airbnb. They even had this cool "Atari" game that all my brothers had a great time playing and really brought everyone together. Just a precious time we will cherish. Thanks so much! Game / recreation area in the basement was the best feature of the house. Comfortable for a group, lots of space.

We had an excellent stay. The home is lovely and well-maintained. Nice view of the lake and a short walk to the water. Claire was quick to respond to our questions and had a helpful and friendly attitude. Lake Adger is beautiful. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Casa del Lago ranks up there as one of my family's favorite Airbnb's! The pictures definitely don't do justice to how beautiful the house is, as well as the view and the proximity to the lake. When you're sitting at the table in the dining area, it almost feels like you're on a boat. Things to note: - There are lots of towels and dishcloths for the kitchen, as well as hot tub/lake towels, and bathroom towels. - There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. - There is a grill AND griddle on the covered patio overlooking the lake. - The house is sparkling clean and we'll maintained. - The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. We will absolutely be going back to this special spot next time we need a getaway!

This was such a lovely Airbnb! Squeaky clean, walkable to beautiful Lake Junaluska and just a few minutes to hiking and downtown Waynesville. You can really tell Steve and Susie want their guests to have a five star stay with so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water, coffee, tea, half and half, biscotti’s card games and an abundance of books and guides about the area. There was a private table and chairs outside for a glass of wine or a meal which we loved and the bed was so comfortable. We visit this area often and we are so glad we have found our home away from home in Waynesville. Thank you Steve and Susie for hosting us! Blessings, Steve and Amy

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

We had a great stay at Paul’s place! Very easy to find and he allowed us to check in early. The only complaint would be that the dryer does not dry quickly and you have to dry your clothes several times. Other than that everything was absolutely great!

By far the best airbnb host we’ve ever had super fast to respond to questions and the accommodations were better than described. Beds were absolutely marvelous woke up every morning feeling better than new. This airbnb is a nature lovers dream. Highly recommend Sandy and the unit

We had the pleasure of staying at Melodie’s apartment while in town for a wedding. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our girls loved having their own bunk beds and the King Bed was very comfortable. Everything we wanted or needed was provided. Melodie was so gracious and very responsive. I only wish we had more time to spend at the place enjoying how beautiful and peaceful it all is. This couldn’t be located in a better area. Loved waking up to seeing the mountains and rolling hills. What a wonderful trip and we’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loriel and Adam’s place. It was very clean, quiet and had a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Loriel and Adam were excellent communicators, checking in with us ahead of our visit to ask whether we had any questions, etc. We would definitely try to stay there again if/when we return to the area.

This is absolutely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I love to fish and the pond didn’t disappoint, caught bass, catfish and bluegill, it was a blast. It was so quiet and we really enjoyed the space by the pond. The home was immaculate!! We are already planning another trip to go back.

Wonderful cabin nestled in the woods. You feel secluded but aren’t far away from Hendersonville or local things to do. The cabin was great—clean, had everything we needed, and the extra touches that make it feel like home. My dog loved the huge property and I loved that it was fenced in and safe so he could run around off leash. Brian and Michele were lovely and made check in and check out easy (no crazy list of things to do when checking out like a lot of airbnbs!). Will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in the area!

Great location with quick access to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Happy with our decision to book this cabin for the week.

We had a fantastic stay near Table Rock, SC. The place was spacious, spotless, and we had full access to the entire property. Outdoor spaces were a real highlight—beautiful lights at night and plenty of room to relax. The hike up Table Rock Trail was no joke—definitely a challenge—but absolutely worth the effort for the views. The private footpath to the trailhead was super convenient, with sturdy steps and gorgeous foliage all around: holly, mountain laurel, rhododendron, even raspberry bushes. Inside, the coffee bar had just the right variety, and the stove/cookware setup was top-notch—everything cooked evenly, which is a rare win in a rental. The packs and snacks were a thoughtful touch, and having a park pass included saved us time and money. BT was responsive and got us checked in a few minutes early with no hassle. Bonus points for the covered carport—it came in clutch during a light rain. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Sylvie’s home was beautiful, filled with details that made it both functional and homey (eg, a full spice rack, and even lotion). We loved our stay and they even let us extend it for a reasonable fee. The location is amazing — tucked away with privacy, but very easy to get to all the beautiful attractions in the area. Thanks for your responsiveness and answering my questions along the way!

Nice home, tucked in the woods by a lake. Was great for our weekend stay. Couple bugs and spiders around the house, but overall the home was clean and cozy.

The Lake Summit Nest was a perfect lakeside retreat to relax and unwind! We had everything we could possible want - a comfortable bed, well-appointed kitchen, peaceful setting in the woods, plus lots of thoughtful extras - cold drinks in the fridge, breakfast pastries, and a basket of travel sized toiletries in case we forgot anything. The Wi-Fi and satellite TV both worked great when we weren't busy reading or watching the birds and squirrels outside our windows. It was a little too chilly for us to take advantage of the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards in the boat house, but there's always next time!

Treetops was a wonderful vacation for us. We felt right at home. It was clean and so peaceful. If you want to get away sink into nature and just relax this is the spot to do so. We look forward to going back.
