We had a wonderful stay at Shelley and Jon’s barn. The location is absolutely breathtaking, peaceful and rural. It’s the perfect escape from the city, yet still just a short drive from the local town for shops and essentials. The barn itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt like a real home away from home. It was the ideal base for exploring nearby walking trails and soaking in the natural beauty of the area. Shelley and Jon were fantastic hosts very friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Was exactly what it said on the tin. Great value for money. Nice secluded setting. Great for our family of four. Only thing worth mentioning was it had low ceilings for a guy like me, 6ft5in but that is obviously nothing on the host or the quality of the place. Would recommend for sure.

A beautiful little cottage in the beautiful setting of the peak district. The perfect place to unwind and take in the amazing views. This adorable place had everything me and my two kids needed to feel at home . Anything I could think of that I would have at home they had covered, all I needed was food and clothes everything else was provided. The kids loved the adorable sheep out in the front and made their stay even more special.

Lovely cottage on the edge of the Peak District. Everything you could wish for is present in the kitchen. Chris is very friendly, and there is a lot of privacy. The road up to the cottage is quite steep, so you might want to step out of the car to avoid scraping your towing hook on the ground (whoops). Because the cottage is quite old, the doors and ceilings in the bathroom and bedrooms are quite low, so if you are over 180cm you might hit your head once or twice. But the views and cosyness of the cottage is worth the hassle.
