Thanks to Guillaume that we did not have the opportunity to meet but with whom we communicated well. We did not test the pool and terrace but it must be very pleasant in summer. The rooms are large and the play area appreciated by the children. The garage allows you to park 2 cars which is appreciated in this charming peaceful village with popular parking. I recommend it.

Mountain gites with stunning views, pool and sauna

Eleven minutes on a bumpy pothole and stone littered road takes you to a beautiful place with beautiful views. La Taillede is beautifully located on the foothills of the sacred mountain Canigó. We stayed with our family in two pleasantly furnished gites (Noisettes and Cérises) where it was wonderfully cool despite the heat outside. Ali and Matt are two fantastic hosts. The second day the children made a ride on the donkeys up the mountain and the refreshments were ready at the top of the viewpoint. The communal meal on Tuesday was also a hit: good food and nice conversations with the other guests. The cooling swimming pool, the massage on request, tranquility and many animals on the property made the week complete. All in all, a lovely stay.

We had a great time with the family in this beautiful wooden house. It is very well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated. The spaces are spacious and pleasant, and the kitchen perfectly furnished. The garden and terrace are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the magnificent view of the Pic du Canigou. There are many activities and beautiful hikes nearby, as well as excellent restaurants like La Table des Amis. A peaceful and refreshing place, which really made us happy. Thanks to Richard for this moment, enhanced as soon as we arrived with delicate touches. We leave the place with regret, but with beautiful memories and the desire to come back very soon.

Great stay at this house in the heart of the village of Argeles. Renovation done with great taste, which gives a special charm to the whole. Note the 3 levels, which means you spend time on the stairs, but the house is well equipped. We didn't take much advantage of the terrace because of the weather, but it's a plus. Thanks for the toys and books available and which delighted our grandson! If I had to make a small negative remark, the pots and pans, as well as the kettle, could do with being replaced, they are old and damaged. But we didn't cook much, there are good restaurants within a 10-minute walk. In summary, a great stay, thank you.

This is a beautiful place and it has now become a favorite for my family. The location is incredible, private w beautiful surroundings yet accessible to many quaint towns and must see stops in La Garrotxa and L’Emporda. The house is fabulous, a historical place brought to life with a beautiful and functional remodel. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need to cook a meal from soup to nuts. Bedrooms are comfortable, luxury linens, tastefully decorated, modern bathrooms. Dreamy outdoors, I could be here for hours bur there is a character limit. I would add one more star to the review because this place has a teapot!!! Thank you for thinking of the many tea lovers of the world.

My girlfriend, me and our 2 dogs booked the place between the years to find peace and spend a nice time in nature. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Christine. The place is exactly as described and everything was to our complete satisfaction. What made this vacation unforgettable, however, is not the accommodation itself, but the wonderful hostess who always stood by us in times of need. When our car stopped working, she took over the communication with the French workshop, was in the nearest village for hours for us and clarified the situation and even drove us 1.5 hours to the car rental on the day of departure. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy the time in the beautiful place despite the difficulties. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Christine again for her helpfulness and professionalism!! 💚

First of all, Valentina and Michel take care to facilitate not only your arrival and departure, but all aspects of your stay. They know how to be very discreet while being memorable advice and kindness. Then, through this beautiful private location, located at the top of a mountain overlooking the lake. The calm and serenity of the place is in no way an obstacle to accessibility by car which is ideal to come and recharge. And finally, the house🤩... a haven of conviviality that still allows everyone a certain privacy as well as moments of unparalleled relaxation and sharing. Everything has been thought out to make your experience exceptional, from the dining table with lake views to the pool house with shower and equipped kitchen. Le Bac - calm, nature and hiking

We loved Olivier and Sophie's home. It was exactly as we pictured it—very simple accommodations in a beautifully pristine setting. It's definitely for rustic relaxationers (prepare to make your own fire for heat in the winter, which to us added to the place's authenticity). Olivier and Sophie were also very accommodating with our two dogs, who loved the setting and couldn't wait to be outside. The town is nearby, with solid restaurants. And if you take an hour or so drive into the mountains, there are a number of picturesque towns to visit. If you prefer to head in the other direction toward the coast you will find two of the most beautiful French beach towns in Colliure and Port-Vendres, also about an hour away. We want to go back to Olivier and Sophie's place again, this time in the summer. One more thing—over the bed is a skylite and on clear nights you can see all the stars in the sky. Beautiful.
